the poor famililes!! the world has gone MAD. all those hearts that are now in so much pain....i cannot even imagine what condition i would be in if it was my child. prayers to these families.

A job involving children is absolutely the worst kind for a first responder ... They have special psychologist on seen (when crimes are especially horrific) to not help with the victims but with any kind of unit like the fire department, paramedics, police, that will have to witness the absolute horror.... At least that is what they do in our area =( I imagine it would be the same in other places in the U.S.


You said basically everything that I wanted to say. This is a terrible tragedy all around. My heart and prayers also go out to these families. I cannot imagine what they must be going through.

They are changing it again

The gunman, identified as Ryan Lanza, 24, was also found dead at the scene, a federal law enforcement official said. Lanza is the son of a kindergarten teacher at the school, reported WNBC's Jonathan Dienst.
One of his parents was later found dead at a home in New Jersey.

I have been reading about this story all morning...just heartbreaking! Those poor children...my god I can't even imagine the pain these families are going through. It makes me want to go get my daughter from school and never let her out of my sight again. It's ashame we have to be scared to let our children go to school..or go watch a movie..or go shopping!

I sat down to lunch in our breakroom and saw it on the news. I cannot imagine the heartbreak and devestation for these families and this community. What is wrong with this world we live in

Wow... It's bad enough you are 24 and want to kill your mother the woman that raised you but you decide to go into the school she teaches kindergarten and take out innocent children too??? That is just sick!!

I can't stop crying about this and I want nothing more than to go to my oldest daughter's school and pull her out of her 2nd grade class and just hug her and hold her like crazy. I will wait the two more hours until she gets home. I think I can, anyway.
I can not imagine the horror the parents of children at that school are feeling right now. Those poor, innocent babies!
