I'm wondering how this is affecting your local school districts?

The constant media blitz on this is unreal....almost like they are begging someone to come along & outdo this nutcase & attain notoriety for themselves.

We've had threats in at least 4 neighboring school districts.
These are just the news feeds from today. Wondering if it's the same nationwide?

Mental illness isn't a cop out or something used only for 'blame'; rather, it can/may help *explain* aspects of why something happened the way it did. It's not an excuse, its not a way to justify - it's just part of the explanation.

If someone massacres 20 children, there absolutely is something wrong in their brain chemistry.

This website has a long list of incidents, along with the drug the perpetrator was using. The site makes a case of correlation between the use of anti-depressants and aberrant behavior. Acknowledging that correlation does not necessarily equal causation, it is nonetheless interesting to see the volume of info these people have compiled.

Yes! SSRIs can really send some people over the edge, and sadly there seems to be no predicting who may be affected in such a way. And you said it so well -- that it's not causation, but the correlation is important.
