a Russian shell toy (where you stack something like toy eggs inside each other and they get bigger as you take them out). That's the best way I can describe it. Does anyone know what they are called and where I can find them? I'm sure he is going to send me on a wild goose chase in the morning to find one in a couple hours. He likes to use props when he gives talks and he has a talk tomorrow afternoon.

Like a matryoshka doll?
Lots of people call them nesting dolls is that what you mean?
If so try raggedy Ann Doll in St. Louis they have the largest selection of them there.

They are called russian nesting dolls. Google russian stores where you live.

They have measuring cups at Target... Win win he uses them for his talk you take them home and bake a cake

I always see the Russian Nesting dolls at some of the high-end mall international gift shops in Dallas.
