| ![]()
Never heard that one. I watched today and then studied the previous days news on the web. I think it has been proved that Casey is a BIG liar. I only hope that most of the stuff that the defense is presenting is not true. I'm not sure how it could be. Especially the pool part. If the child did drown, why the duck tape? Is there evidence to support a drowning or just the ladder and open gate? Also...trying to place the timing of borrowing the shovel. How long would the body have been in the car before the day the shovel was borrowed? When did the coroner place the day and time of death? Things don't add up in my head yet on the timing of everything. I keep praying that Casey will break down and actually tell the truth. The real truth. Take some responsibility....Oh well, I can dream, can't I?
lol! Yea - I think everyone would love for her to do that but if she hasn't done it by now - she won't. Not to mention that she's such a psychopath she can't remember what the truth is.

Did you find anything there that says who's paying for the defense or if they're pro bono?

| ![]() I am assuming the taxpayers since they had a hearing that established Casey is indigent.

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I did hear today the IRS has filed a lien on Casey for about $70,000. There is speculation her income (2008) was from the sale of Caylee pictures/video to ABC and other television networks. To murder your own child and then exploit her pictures to pay for your defense should be a crime too! She should be glad I'm not in charge of the criminal justice system....she would have been sent to "old sparky" about 2-1/2 years ago!

| ![]() This is exactly the time you shouldn't turn in your letter of resignation! The main job of a defense attorney is to make sure the client gets a fair trial guilty or not. That way the client doens't go free because of a poor defense. If the attorney doesn't explore every avenue he/she opens the door for mistrieal, apeals and all kinds of nonsense. Her attorney could very well believe she is guilty but can still defend her to make sure she goes away for a very long time. Don't think he doesn't know the swimming pool accident is a lie. I'm betting the first thing out of his mouth when he talked to her was "Did you do it?" |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | ![]() Honestly, death seems too good for her. This is just mind boggling. Her attorney seems really stupid, and if I were a juror, I would be offended by his questions, for example to her boyfriend, he asked, “Did she buy any duct tape at Penny’s?” Are they going to try and go for inadequate counsel?

| ![]() I also feel sorry for the person that she used their name for the nanny. The poor woman has lost her job, car and everything because of this pscho. They said today she is bringing a lawsuit against Casey. What a mess. I have never watched a trial on there before that everything is so mixed up as all of this. I agree, her lawyer seems like a looneytoon. Casey drives me crazy just straightnening her clothes and touching her hair every second. I could never be a defense lawyer. To try to get someone off that you know is probably guilty as sin......nope, couldn't do it. |

Donating YT 500 Club Member | ![]() I think Jose Baez believes she is guilty. Attorneys take cases like these not because they think she is innocent, but for the publicity, making a name for themselves and of course those high fees. Let's face it, who had ever heard of Johnnie Cochran, Bob Kardashian or Robert Shapiro before O.J. Simpson's trial?

Jose Baez is already a laughing stock. The judge has to reprimand him every day for not being prepared. Today Baez was trying to get a video thrown out. Judge says, you had your change in December. Too late now, you didn't file a motion.

| ![]() I don't remember now who it was but one of the attorneys on CNN that they do consults with said that Baez is completely out of his league. This was a while back before the trial began. The sad part is that if she is found guilty, another small fortune will be spent in appeals. His defense may ultimately be a good reason for an appeal.

This is exactly what my husband said. He thinks they're going to use his inadequate counsel to get an appeal.
