My house was broke into when I lived by myself before I was married...I was 21. I was scared to death...got a security system and have had one ever since. I left for work in the early afternoon and came home around midnight (I worked retail at the time.) I was just glad I wasn't home. I still have nightmares sometimes about break-ins. It was about 15 years ago...it just doesn't easily leave you. I didn't even have anything worth stealing. Whoever it was took some trinkets from my dresser top. Not worth any money really. But, one of the items was a small gold baby ring that I had from my father. He died when I was just 2 months old...it was the ONLY thing I had from him.

They probably just threw it away.

In the press conference after, did I really hear Jose Baez say that Casey can grieve now?? Unbelievable!

One thing on the jurors reaching the verdict - I think we all saw more than they did. Remember the discussions going on when the jurors were sent out of the courtroom? Evidence that they weren't allowed to bring in etc.
Listening to that alternate juror #14, looks like they were looking for a motive and none was really provided.

Jeff Aston is retiring, but he has been with the Prosecutors office for 30 years. He was one of the first prosecutors in the nation to use DNA evidence in court back in the 1990's. He is also the first prosecutor in the nation to argue the air sample science that he presented in this case.

Who paid for Casey's defense team???

I thought I read she sold Caylees pictures to pay for her defense.

I am sure she will have a lot of men willing to help her especially after she gets all the money for the movie, books, and interviews.

They did eventually open that info, and yes she sold pics of Caylee to ABC for around $200,000 which went supposedly went to Mr. Baez. The expert witnesses, expenses, etc., were supposedly paid by tax payers after she declared herself indigent. That reel they constantly show of Caylee reading the book was sold by Casey. I'm not sure what other pics were sold by her.

I also heard that was in her jail journals that she wanted another child when she got released from prison - wonderful.

I also agree w MicheleM. I hope Casey moves to Texas as her new home. I think they are better able to deal w her kind. We here in PA aren't much better than Florida, I'm sorry to say. There have been too many cases here where there has been a death and the parents get off or get a slap on the wrist.

Her parents have the Orange County Sheriffs guarding there house now because of death threat. I know the Taxpayers are loving that. Because of Casey they have become prisoners in their own home. George and Cindy's lawyer said they have not seen or talked to Casey yet, but probably will at some point.

I cant stop reading about this case! This is unbelievable!! Nothing makes sense. She killed that little baby! I heard them try to say the reason for the duct tape and trash bag was that's how they buried their pets they have lost!!

What world do we live in where someone gets away with killing a 2 year old baby girl and throwing the body away like a piece of trash? It is sick!

I do believe just like OJ she will get herself into some trouble, and when she does- lets hope the book is thrown at her!
