It seems that everyone in the Anthony family is a liar. I really don't know how any of them can live with themselves. If my child drowned in the pool, I'd be calling 911, not figuring out a way to cover it up. Accidental drownings happen all the time, but the children aren't wrapped in duct tape and left in a swamp.

There are many unpunished childrens deaths. Murderers of children are not found guilty even though they do show it. It seems as though young lives taken are not given the same weight as adults. IMO.

If Casey had done this to one of her parents they would have probably found her guilty w/the same evidence.

I don't get it, not one bit. I've been thinking all day how could this verdict happen? And be reached THAT fast? It seems completely implausible !

I was on a jury case having to do w/ the rape of a 12 yr old by a 20 yr old man - also circumstantial. And we ended up a hung jury. There was no way the 12 of us could agree.

I just do not understand.

It's sad to say, there's no justice in our society...This makes me really sad and I feel so sorry for poor Caylee. I really can't understand how someone can kill anyone without feeling guilt. I hope Casey never have a child again! She's gained her freedom at the cost of a life...brought onto earth by her. RIP Caylee.

I cried with the verdict, I'm just sickened.

At least abuse/neglect, she didn't report her own child missing for 31 days and then would not have had she not been busted.....and she was the last one with her!!!

The jurors must be blind/death idiots!!

They should all fun home and not say words.......shame...be ashamed as you should be!!!

I heard some speculation that because of all the crime dramas and absolute genius forensic evidence on them, jurors may be expecting more and more evidence, especially DNA evidence, so while advances in science have helped us convict many a suspect, now jurors may be expecting too much evidence, and not really understand what a “reasonable” doubt is.

Sad to say, the guy flipping the bird at trial got in more trouble than Casey, they say she may be out as soon as Thursday. By the way, at the end of the trial, prosecutor had a chance to allow the judge to decide, the verdict, Baez was willing to do away with the jury, and the prosecutor said he wanted to use the jury, I wonder if he’s rethinking this?

Casey looked shocked that she was found not guilty. Her parents didn't even acknowledge her in court or afterwards when the defense were all hunging it out.

I am SO upset about this. What a total travesty of justice. The jurors would not participate in the court set up media interview. My guess...they weren't getting paid. What do you want to bet they interview when they get PAID.

Our "justice" system is broke. Innocent people get convicted and the guilty go free. This is not right. Just watch, Casey will be a millionaire. Sick, just sick.

I have watched every moment of this trial....and even much of the jury selection. I've read everything there is to read regarding the evidence. I am just so upset about this. It is AWFUL!

Rest in peace sweet baby Caylee. You will be taken care of by Jesus and the angels. I'm sorry your "mom" loved the party life more than she loved you. I wish there was something I could do to make it right. True justice will be served by God. I will trust in that.

I agree with this statement. I've been debating people all over facebook all day. Everyone keeps crying about the lack of DNA evidence and I had to reference them to an article explaining that less than 1% of criminal trials nowadays uses DNA evidence. Regardless of whether there was evidence or motive behind Caylee's murder linking Casey Anthony there is one thing that was a no brainer and that was aggravated child abuse/neglect. Not only did she NOT report her child missing for 31 days but it was her mother that reported it and NOT HER! She didn't even cooperate with the police given that she kept giving the wrong information! How can you convict someone of lying to the police regarding the whereabouts of your child and NOT be charged with child abuse if it LED to the endangerment (DEATH) of your daughter?!

Wouldn't you think that her daughter's dead & Casey has "no idea" how, where, why, that the first thing she'd say post verdict is she's going to use her stupid fame to find the killer?? Of course not, cuz we know where that will lead!

Yeah, he said it is not a celebration, then he goes across the street to a HUGE party where they took photos and re-watched their press interview. A big bunch of jokes if you ask me.

Im in total shock. I dont understand how anyone could have not said guilty. The entire family lied. Whats up with that?
