GREAT POINT!!! Like other posters have said, I cannot believe the lengths these parents go to to enable a daughter who has killed their grandchild! It is unbelievably sickening! At the beginning I felt pity for them getting caught in their daughter's mess, but after seeing the extent they go to to help her escape the culpability of her actions, I have no sympathy for them whatsoever!

I do wonder how some ppl can tell these unbelievable stories? Do they really think everyone believes their story? Is it they think they are smarter than other ppl? I don't get it.

Whew! Dad George is not going to agree to his daughter's lies just to get her off. I feel much better! George looked so deadpan when he was accused it got me worrying they might do anything to get Casey off.

An entry from Casey Anthony's diary was also released.[40] The prosecution stated that Casey Anthony had written it in 2008 immediately after murdering her child.

The entry is dated "June 21," and reads:

I have no regrets, just a bit worried. I just want for everything to work out okay. I completely trust my own judgment & know that I made the right decision. I was up most of the nite with one of the babies, Tina, the one with dementia, and so I was so tired this morning I just watched the prosecution and not all of it. I didn't hear she had drowned. Last I heard was her borrowing a shovel from the neighbors. So, was she supposed to have buried her after she drowned and didn't report it for the 30 so days. I could not believe she went out partying and got a tatoo. Real grief stricken wasn't she??? Maybe she wanted to get rid of the little girl to be with her boyfriend. Look at how many have killed their kids to be with men in their lives. Sick, sick, sick. What a precious little girl she was. So, cute. Bless her little heart. There is no tellin' what that little girl suffered. We live in a crazy world.

I was just reading about this.
How her attorney can say she was a good mother and loved her child. It makes me sick!
Accidental drownings happen, it's horrible and tragic, but what normal mother could find her child drowned and then dump her body in the woods and act like nothing is wrong! Not report it for 30 days and party like nothing is different!
Who does that? If her parents knew, shame on them and they should be charged with something!
I just don't buy it!

I have been watching this case from the beginning. I have had Caylee's picture as my avatar/profile for almost 3 yrs. I said I'd take it down when there's been "Justice for Caylee". I sure hope it happens at the end of this trial.

There are too many holes in the defense's case. Jose didn't lay out a clear path for us/the jury to follow. All he did was tie some strings to different points in order to make it look like they were connected.

I do think the family is odd in that they never asked who the father was! Really???? I don't buy that and I'm still curious as to why they didn't. I think that George & Lee were tested and were eliminated as being the father.

Any one else wondering where Lee is?

I believe Casey caused Caylee's death - I'm just not sure how.

I haven't seen anything about Casey Anthony that would cause me to believe anything she said. Her parents are seemingly responsible people - respected employees in professional jobs all their lives, homeowners, taxpayers and responsible citizens who the public has reason to believe due to their reputations, judgment and credibility; while their daughter seems like someone who just lived off them her whole life, lied to anyone and everyone get what she could and is now using them to save her own skin. Am sure the parents weren't perfect but so far they seem far more reputable than their daughter.

What evidence of credibility or any reason to believe Ms. Anthony as opposed to her parents can the defense offer in response to the prosecution's case? While it is said the defense does not have they same burden of proof, they are going to have to offer something of substance for jurors to believe Casey Anthony. I can't believe the defense attorney spent the time he did talking about a snake and the picture of a snake! That kind of attempt to obfuscate and blow smoke will likely be judged by any reasonably prudent lay person in that jury to border on the ridiculous rather than a believable defense of his client. It would make the think it is just a "kitchen sink" attempt to defend the defenseless. He'd better have more than he's indicated so far if he expects to get her off and it looks like he is going to have to put his client on the stand for sure.

When I lived in Cocoa Beach I was able to get MUCH more reliable news coverage (via the Orlando channels) than I can get now in Sarasota

Casey is a b*tch who deserves life in prison. Period.

I definitely think she did it. So sad that she could put her family through this.....horrible!

Reasonable doubt with the death penalty on table...does scare though. I keep thinking at least one will hold out for not guilty.

Yeah, they were tested and big surprise...it's not them.

I have been wondering about Lee too, but I'm sure he cannot stomach his sister saying their father & Lee both molested her. Just to stinkin save her own skin! What a liar!

I live about 60 miles from where they live so I've had to hear about it on the news every day for almost 3 years. So sad! Did any of you see the Target video? Casey went shopping at Target while Caylee was missing, paying for her purchase with a check she stole from her friend. Not ONE item was for Caylee. She's already been convicted of the stolen check charges. Oh...the blue shirt she was wearing at the arrest hearing...she bought that at Target. I'm sure it's on youtube or the local news.
