Unbelievable this trial.....

If I were planning to lie on the stand, it would NOT be in front of those prosecutors. Either the defense has the dumbest of the dumb or the prosecutors are the cream of the crop. I would be quaking in my boots if I were a liar...but then, I suppose liars lie because they think they are good.

I will definitely be watching the cruise ship sink into the river tomorrow.

He actually said, "I didn't want to believe, at that time, that my daughter killed her daughter." The phrase "at that time" really stood out to me! Also, did anyone else notice that she actually rolled her eyes when he started to get emotional! She is so disgusting.

Yep, and I think it said a lot as well....like he is saying that he no longer feels that way.....that's why it stood out to me.

I saw that. She is a piece of work for sure.....if she gets off (even with 15 years....) it will be a travesty!!

So did I hear correctly the defense may rest tomorrow??
I guess she isn't going to testify, not that I thought there was a strong possibility of that.
Her defense has proven nothing! No drowning, abuse, etc..
Who cares if her dad did have an affair, what the heck does that have to do with her killing her child? Though I don't think he did.
I can't believe she Casey cried during the grief counselor's testimony, but stone faced during her dad's!

I thought I heard that the judge will ask her is she wants to testify as soon as the defense rests. She is the only one that can say yes or no. I hope she gets on the stand and the prosecuters will rip her apart. I would love to see it.

I had read that Casey was jealous of the motherly relationship her own mother had w/Caylee. I think that she planned on it to hurt her mother & destroy the relationship that made her jealous of her own daughter receiving attention.

The defense just threw out every possibility to came to their mind in hopes of getting a doubt in one juror. I hope it doesn't rest until after the holiday because if it does I am afraid that the jurors will just want to get out of their because of the holiday weekend. I don't want a not guilty because they want to get to the bbq.

I think you have a point there. Jesse Grund, the ex-fiance, claimed Casey broke it off w him bc he loved Caylee more than her - which he says is untrue. I think she may have had a real jealousy issue w her child.

I agree with this and even think she was jealous of the love her parents felt for Caylee. Anyway, if that is true, it would be a motivation for murder. Most girls would just let the grandparent raise the child and go off and party, but if she were the jealous type, she'd rather see Caylee dead. I’ve always thought it was accidental, but it may have been murder. I wish the persecution had shown more of that because I think he’s going to have a hard time proving premeditated murder without some type of motive besides wanting to party.

I saw older report today and did you guys know that Casey's exboyfriend had a picture of Casey with Caylee around the same time that she went missing. Caylee was wearing a tee-shirt that was reportedly like one that was found next to her remains. And this same ex posted an icon on his myspace that said, "win her over with chloroform". So strange. Is there something to this or is this the new drug that people are using? :confused:

I think everyone is being hard on her family and want to assume that she had a "messed up" childhood. However, after listening to more and more videos of her parents and brother, I think they seem very normal and nice in fact. I truly feel that Casey was immature and angry and self-serving. Why? I have no idea, but my opinion of her family is not what some are automatically assuming.

Remember how Casey broke down on the stand when Lee was speaking? I also saw a picture on line (from her original Facebook pictures) where she was hugging her brother and the picture was titled, "The best brother in the world!". Some thought of Lee's tears on the stand as being "creepy"....I think he is in sooooo much pain!! Casey lied when she said that she didn't allow Caylee to be around him....there's a lot of pictures of him holding and playing with her. Just another lie of hers.

Casey was telling her mother and other ppl the nanny was watching her? Where did she and Caylee go during the day when Casey was telling ppl she was going to work and dropping Caylee off at the nanny? Maybe she killed her bc the child was getting old enough to talk and old enough to start telling ppl how she was being kept while her mother was running around w friends/mult. boyfriends and spill the truth to ppl that her mother doesn't work?

Lorna Owens is talking on HLN now. She said earlier today that she's sure that Casey will not be testifying. She's convinced of it. I saw Dad's testimony last night & it made me cry. All of that emotion. I just really felt for the man.

I know but they also were the ones w/the story break on John Edwards. Celebs that have fessed up admit that the rags have @ least one tiny piece of information that is true.

Any person who tells the police one thing, and then tells the National Enquirer another story for money raises big doubt in my mind to her reliability. The National Enquirer story wouldn’t have been that interesting, except for her one line about it being an accident that snowballed. I think she was bragging to her sister about how desirable she was and that snowballed, her sister's the one who called the National Enquirer.

I just learned Casey won't testify, I really thought she would, I'd love to hear her side. I wonder why they had the competency hearing if she didn't want to testify?
