Mike, I hate to agree with you about Casey and James but wow! James was absoutly the best last night. (Bet none of you would have believed I'd ever say that!) Casey is a cutie and I know he isn't going away in the music industry but he reallly isn't an idol. I still do not like Jacob but I could sit through his performance last night. He didn't go crazy with his song and it was much better than usual. I thought Hailey was really good last night but I wasn't impressed with anyone else. Sigh

But! you have to agree that judges have had a tough time criticizing this particular group. As a whole, all of them are realy good singers!

My dh doesn't watch AI but was walking through the room while Scotty was performing. When he stopped to listen I was interested in hearing what someone who had never heard him had to say. He did say that Scotty was really good and it brought back memories of my first impression of the kid. He really is good to listen to (If you like country) but watching him week after week is painful. He is just so cocky-looking. I don't think he really is that cocky - I think it is more his age and inexperience on stage. I also think he is imitating someone. I hope when he gets out there in and works in the "business" someone takes him in hand and teaches him stage presence.

I predict that Stephano or Casey goes home. (The last of my original favorites. Sigh)

I'm with ya on Scotty's facial expressions. I can't even watch him anymore. What's with the microphone comin' in for a landing on the side of his face...? Weird.

I'm a real Scotty fan, as well as a country western fan...but, last night he was below par from the rest of the crew.

I'm just not a real fan of Jacob....there is somewhat of a phoneyness about him. Powerful voice; but that's just it, he doesn't know how to control it at all. I hope he goes soon

I'm not a Casey fan, but his performance last night was awesome.

I'm not a rocker, but James is my favorite....the young man is so into the zone when he's performing....just awesome.

Lauren is good and one of my favorites, but not sure if she really has the dynamics of being American Idol.

I think it will be either Stefano or Haley

i'm shocked that you all don't like Haley....???? she's simply the best and most original vocal singer i've seen on this show so far. no one sounds like her. that's what i look for in an artist. not the same old karaoke sounding person that sings every song exactly like the orig. i want someone that sounds DIFFERENT.

she did Adele who is another of my unique favorites that i can't get enough of. i would kill to sing like Haley or Adele. she's going further than anyone else on Idol whether she wins or doesn't. i will be first in line for her album too.

I think Scotty was so so this week not good enough
Lauren wasn't great either
Stepano has gots ta go..he's horrible and always was sub par.
Casey did ight
Jacob it's time to go too, just not getting bigger and better
Haley makes my mouth drop to the floor every time i hear her.

And all this comes from a bona fide musician that's been singing/performing locally since 2000.

I bet Jacob is the one to go, however I was underwhelmed with all of them last night. At this stage of the competition, they should all be really knocking our socks off, but I think it was just ho-hum boring, and they are just coasting.

Jacob and Stefano were my least two favorites all throughout the season. They both should have gotten voted off IMO.

So far, I think the ones who should be there are still there. I'm pulling for James and I'm not even a rocker. He just has this "thing" about him. He looks and sounds like a true rock star.

When the seasons are over, it seems like the worst of the bunch wins! Again, IMO.

I wasn't surprised. Stefano was a gracious loser. I think he knew he was not going to advance much further in the competition.

Ahhh poor Stefano, he did need to go though. He's really talented vocally, but he's really been trying TOO hard the last few weeks, especially this week. JoLo told him he had "swag",ummm Justin Beiber has more swagger (did I just say that???lol). He needs to work on performing, hopefully he'll loosen up more on the tour

Haley really impressed me for the first time this week. I think because she actually sang instead of growling her way through the song

Me too. I had my fingers crossed. I like him, but like i've said before, I think he's better suited for theater.

I wanted Jacob to leave, he has an arrogant attitude even though he tries to hide it. He seems to think he's more talented that everyone else....

Stephano, probably not the most talented on the stage, is a genuine nice guy....not too many of those around...

It was nice seeing one of my all time Idols back on the AI stage....
