Im soo soo disappointed in the decision!!! James has never even been in the bottom 2, I just think America got it wrong, what a shame. It always seems the one who could make albums gets tossed off.
I dont care for Haley, the way she rolls her voice gets very old, and its not needed in every single song. Kind of gets old. Lauren is cute but again, not quite sure where she would fall into the music industry. And Scotty , I think he has a good voice , he reminds me of Travis Trit ( sp).
I do think that James will have a career in the music industry , and would not be surprised if he had offers as early as last night. Maybe for him its better off, if you win AI , you are locked into a contract with them , they get some of your royalties and it cant make your own decisions.
Seems like the last few winners have never been heard of, at least I dont remember one good song from them.
Anyone else Remember MAD Magazine.. that is all I think about when I see Scotty.

I am so very sad and heart broken right now about last nights show. I just sat on the couch, and kept saying WTH. It's so not fair. BUT I know he will have a wonderful career. It actually may be better this way as he won't have to abide by what Idol wants him to do.

I think now you all understand how I felt when Pia was eliminated. Never on the bottom 3 and the one time she is she gets voted off. What are we left with? Sorry to say but those that remain their vocals are OK and I think NONE of them are good performers

Which is sad given all of these weeks they've had to improve...

I'm sorry for all you guys that really liked James. I wasn't much of a fan of his (at least not from the beginning), but I think he probably has the best personality/performance/heart out of anyone that is left. The rest of them are just ...bleh AND Haley's attitude when she received criticism is just...disgusting. Now THAT is a DIVA.

DITTO, I feel exactly like you on every point you made. Loved Pia! I am so shocked and saddened for James, but have no doubt that he has multiple recording offers to choose from. The others are so boring I won't be planning my life around being home to watch AI on Wed & Thurs nights anymore.

James is without a doubt the best of the bunch. I just hope that he has a career like Daughtry is enjoying. Disappointments like this is why I quit watching.

It's amazing that we here are almost universally stunned, yet James got voted off. We ARE America, aren't we? I guess the ones who are left must have an organized fan base that votes heavily.

I think it's gonna be a boring next couple weeks. I don't care who wins.

Well James wasn't my favorite but I was surprised and saddened last night as well. I wanted him and Haley to be the top 2 w/ Haley as the winner.

Scotty and Lauren can sing but they're pretty boring.

I was shocked and disappointed that James got voted off. I really feel that the majority of the voters must not like rock music. I happen to really like Scotty but I would have liked James to win. I will be rooting for Scotty to win now. I don't care for either of the girls and would probably not buy their music but I would definitely buy a Scotty cd. Scotty is just very young and I think he will only get better.

You ALL know I don't like country music. BUT who of the three left has the best voice? Even I can appreciate what comes out of Scotty's mouth. He is consistent and true to his music. I have never heard him sing off key or forget lyrics.

I liked James' personality and story better than Scottie James frequently hit sharp or flat notes as do the girls. I figure Scottie to win this competition.

Fortunately after this is all over I won't have to watch his eyebrows going up and down as he sings out of the corner of his mouth. The limp wrist is even getting tiresome.

Who do I now want to win? ...... Lauren. Haley's attitude ruined it for me. And I don't think Lauren is a fake I just don't think she can act as well as the others. And they all have been acting for the supposedly candid stuff.

I didn't like Haley's attitude but she is from a town close by me. My daughter wanted James to win, but she heard about Haley's hometown visit and got 5 free tickets to her 1 hour show tomorrow. Maybe I'll see my dd on the show next week in the audience> lol
