What are your thoughts on tattoos?

I did get my brows tattoo'd on. Does that count?
My brows are very thin and especially in the summer (less make-up) I look like I don't have any. Went to a very well known (in my area) cosmetic dr office and had it done. It just gives my brows a little color. And yes it hurt like you know what and that was with a numbing shot.

I hardly have any eyebrows either, but I pencil mine in everyday. It only takes a few mins. People ask me if mine are tatted all the time. It gets kind of annoying. I really have so little eyebrow hair I guess it does look tatted on. My mom has her done and also her eyeliner. Doesn't look too great, so she's put me off of doing it forever. old asian ladies always seem to have the worst eyebrow tattoos. *hoping Gatord is not an old asian lady*LOL

to shod. i think you are right. there is a reason i still haven't done it yet. i keep thinking when i'm in pain from loosing her i might be brash and do it, but until that moment i prob. will not.

Thanks! The image on the right is a pic of Johnny's. I traced it in Illustrator myself and gave a flash drive to the shop bc I didn't trust anyone to do it. I've seen some Jack Sparrow impersonators get the tattoo and theirs does not look even remotely close to Johnny's.

I really like the one on your back. It made me wonder for the longest what it all looked like since you can only see some of the red when we met up. It made me so curious every time I saw you.

i like tattoos..but not in to alot on women..some sleeves look ok on men..i dont like the face tats. the entire body tats or stupid pointless tats..lol i like them here n there i guess

i have one little thing on my hip from when my husband did tats, its a heart with a rose and he wrote his name when i wasnt paying attention..lol short name though so im ok..been together over 10 years now..but he has some neat ones...the best one he has he did his self on his calf muscle..its a playgirl standing in water with a see through top and zebra stripes..sounds trashy but is actually neat looking..just black ink..he gets a lot of compliments on that one..he has the standard barb wire around one bicep, he has a spider thing on the other leg, a tattoo gun on one forearm, the masquerade faces on the other bicep..pretty..and ugh..his chest from long ago has fireworks and a womans name on it 4 ever blah..its huge..it sucks..lol

i found a black n white yorkie sketching i want on my shoulder but it was estimated to cost something like $400.00...lol so it will wait for now

I have 2 tattoos, I have a black & grey Fleur De Lis on the top of my left foot. It represents Louisiana (my home). I also have a Cardinal in flight on my right calf, with my maiden name under it. That one was for my grandmother, it was her favorite bird (mine too). I did not want the typical girl tattoo of a flower or a butterfly.

My only wish is that I would have gotten the Cardinal a little higher on my leg. I love to wear dresses in the spring/summer, and it is not something that can be hidden.

I love them both, and I am glad I waited until I was in my 30's to get them. The tattoos I would have picked when I was younger would not of had the meaning that these 2 have.

Your post brought a smile to my face because I have thought the exact same thing about seeing all the bridesmaids going down the church isle with visible tattoos. Yep, I am old and cranky, too.

I've been wanting to get my eyebrows tattoo'd for AGES.
I over plucked them when I was younger and they have never grown back properly, they are quite patchy and a lot lighter then my hair.
The place I get my tats done now does them but im too scared incase something goes wrong and then they are on my face! But Im sick of penciling them in grrr.
