Yorkie Yakker | Yay! I need the motivation too. Today lets start with writing down what we eat and keeping track of calories. In addition, if you have any good healthy recipes post them to share. I will try to get a work out in today if I'm not depressed with the Buffalo Bills today. If anyone has any good suggestions please share them! Kristy

| Kristy, Can I make a suggestion along with the tracking meals and calories, can we make a commitment to workout at least 3 times a week for 30 or more? Meal planning and calorie counting is kind of second nature to me since I have done for so long so I should be able to offer a lot of suggestions. Thanks, Cheryl

| oops that should be 30 minutes or more. By working out it could even be taking our dogs our for a long walk - as long as we are moving.

Yorkie Yakker | That sounds wonderful!! Any information you would like to contribute please feel free! That goes to everyone. If possible I would like everyone to log in as much as possible so we stay committed. Here's a free calorie counter. Calorie Calculator - Daily Caloric Needs

| Every home should have a treadmill and some barbells. That is really all you need. This way, when the weather is bad out, you can walk inside, at your own pace. 3-5 days a week, 45 minutes a time. Use weights to burn more calories, strenth, posture, and prevent bone loss in the female body. Cut down portion sizes......weight watcher points. Try it for a few months.... |

| Hmmm, I'm starting a diet tomorrow. Back to 1,200 calories for me. Sigh. Supposed to be walking, biking, or swimming for 30 minutes at least 4 days a week too. I'll join.

Donating YT 30K Club Member | I go to exercise class 3 times a week for an hour class. I do strength training on Sunday mornings and Zumba(South American dance/exercise) class 2 times a week. It's the only way for me to stay motivated. I won't do it on my own, no will power. I go to the PArk District health club so it is reasonable. My problem is sugar. I would rather eat sweets than a meal. I a going to try and cut down on that.
