Congrats on the weight loss sugarmamma and Tammy! I gained about a half a pound, but today is the first day I worked out in a week, and I haven't been doing great on the diet either, but at least I didn't hurt myself too much. Now with the new year coming up it's time for me to really get after it!

How is everyone doing with their loss? I am still up tonight, just stopped working out...so fun with the Wii. I am down another pound and a half....not much, but I will take it. I knew that it would start to slow at some point. I will just have to work out even more.

I'm back to being on track, I'm down 8 pounds total since I started just recently, and down 28 pounds total from my heaviest. I got to see 139 on my scale, I haven't seen a number in the 130's since my freshment year of college, so I'm really happy to see that number.

The first 20 pounds was from working at a job that was physical labor, I lost it about a year ago and have kept it all off, but didn't lose anymore after the job was done. Now I'm just trying to eat a lot healthier and I do a workout video about 5 times a week, except I've done horrible since the holidays are here, but should get back on track after the weekend! I still eat out too much on the weekends and drink too much alcohol, I think it would come off faster if I quit both of those. I set my goal for one pound a week because that will put me looking great for summer and a bikini. My goal is to lose about 20 more pounds, but really if I lost 10 more I think I would be pretty darn happy.

How is everyone doing? I lost another half a pound over the New Years weekend, which I wasn't expecting since it was mostly parties and eating out from about Wednesday on and no exercise. My new favorite meal is a piece of grilled tilapia which is only 100 calories and then I can have a serving of tater tots that I bake for a total of 260 calories. And I get to satisfy the cravings for something fried all at the same time. I'm happy to find something good for lunch that I can have that won't kill my diet but still is satisfying.

The holidays are so tough, I've got a super sweet boyfriend who always goes and brings home something bad for breakfast in the morning on the weekends, and then add the beer into that and it's horrible. And he's been off work for the last two weeks, usually I'm good all week and then bad on the weekends. At least now I can get back in my routine.

I thought I would bump this up and see how everyone is doing? I'm down to 136 it's been going slow, but at least it's been moving in the right direction. I've got a Memorial day camping trip at the lake planned so I've added in working out with a mini elliptical trainer at least 5 days a week, I started last week so hopefully I can keep on track.

No, the scale only lies when it reads higher than you think it's going to! Like after a long week of dieting and working out and it reads higher than before, that's the only time they lie lol.

| I'm right there with you sister! I have been doing a combination of the atkins diet and going to the gym 3-4 times a week. I don't care what diet you do, going to the gym makes all the difference in the world! I have been on it for about 5 weeks, and I have lost 20 lbs! It feels so good when the people you work with are constantly letting you know how good you look... not to mention my hubby being unusually affectionate all of the time now lol! I don't know how much you want to lose, but counting carbs is a great way to go, as you don't have to worry about starving yourself, and there are so many great low-carb recepies out there now, I have been cooking chicken, shrimp scampi, salmon, cinnimon mini-muffins... OMG and it's all so good! Anyway, you can lose up to 1 lb per day (with exercise) and you look and feel great! Good luck you the OP, and to everyone on here that's working hard to look good in their bathing suits this summer! The trick is once you lose it, to keep it off!
