| Anyone doing C25K? Anyone doing the Couch potato to 5 K program? I started 5 weeks ago and am on week 5. I should be going on week 6 but had to take this week off for pain in my leg and a sinus infection. I have found this program to be SO wonderful. It was hard at first but I can't wait to get back on the treadmill! Anyone else doing this program? |

| I haven't heard of it, but it sounds wonderful...just what I need. I'll have to google it to see if we have it in GA.

| here's the best part- you don't have to "have it" in GA_ it is someting you do on your own- you only run/walk 3 days a week and in 9 weeks they have you doing a 5K!! |

| My sister-n-law did this in Washington State and she's doing 5k marathons all the time now! She now loves running and has lost weight and she looks great! Her husband (my brother) is the one who just competed in the Ironman triathlon in Penticton, Canada!

| Woops! I'm sorry, I just emailed my sister-n-law and this ISN'T what she did! She said she doesn't recommend this AT ALL because she feels it guarantees injuries! She just started doing small intervals of running & walking at her own pace while adding in longer runs and it's worked great for her without any injuries!

| I have done C25K. I LOVE IT. I haven't done it this summer b/c I have just been swamped but I would totally recommend it to anyone. I need to start it back up.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | My old acting teacher told us about it like 2 years ago. I tried it and fell off the wagon as life got busier. I really, really want to find a treadmill. I can't/won't run outside (I can run for much longer on a treadmill. I have no idea why), but I think if I had a treadmill to run on I'd commit to it a lot better. they're just sooo freakin expensive.

It is easier to run on a treadmill because outside you have to propel yourself forward- whereas on a treadmill you are just staying still- plus no hills, no hot weather... i do treadmill only. However, I think if i want to really get ready for my 5K in a month- i better start taking it outside or i'll be in for a rude awakening!!! | |
