| Is This Good or Bad Customer Service Hi, Yorkie lovers. I got my hair cut at an upscale salon. I went to the salon to get a mid length A-Line Bob. The stylist cut my hair shorter than what I desired, but what made me upset was the customer service I received. The stylist was cutting layers in the bottom of my hair near my face that made the ends look choppy. I told the stylist that I wanted my hair to angle towards my face, so I asked her to stop cutting layers at the bottom of my hair. The stylist told me she was cutting my hair in this manner to help it bend. Then she excused herself for about five to ten minutes while I was sitting in the chair. When she came back, she told me another stylist would cut my hair in about ten minutes. She told me I needed to wait in the waiting area. She sent me to the waiting area wearing a smock, holding a mirror in my hand, clipped hair stuck to the smock, and my hair messed up. I felt humiliated while I waited in the waiting area. When the next stylist came to do my hair, she asked me why my hair was messed up. Would you be upset if you received this type of customer service? I had to complain to the corporate office about the customer service I received, because the stylist would not let me speak to the manager of the salon. The cooperate office decided to give me my money back for not being satisfied with the haircut. They actually told me in a letter that they have good customer service and would not apologize for how the stylist treated me that day. Last edited by JoshieBoy; 05-18-2009 at 01:46 PM. |

| Lousy customer service. That being said since you got your money back I would not waste anymore time or energy on it they do not deserve to take up anymore of your time than they all ready have. Quote:

Thor's Human Donating Member | As Liz of 30 Rock would say, that's a deal breaker, ladies! There are so many nice hair salons, go find one that treats you well.

| Your right I need to put my energy into finding another stylist. I was putting my energy towards finding another stylist until I got the letter and refund check that I got today. I decided I would grow my hair into a longer A-Line Bob. What the letter said got me all upset again. I could not believe the salon said they strive towards good customer service and not apologize for how the stylist treated me that day. I wrote a negative review on websites about the haircut and customer service I received. All her cliental are writing how the stylist has good customer service towards her customers like what I experience never happen (after I wrote my review). Thanks Yorkie talkers for your comments. I was starting to question if the customer service I received that day was not as bad as I felt that day. Last edited by JoshieBoy; 05-18-2009 at 02:42 PM. |

| I am happy they gave me my money back too. I am putting this situation behind me. Writing about my experience helped me get over this bad experience. I am going to throw the letter they mailed me away, because it made me get so upset. I thought I was over the horrible experience until I read the letter the salon mailed to my house. I thought the customer service was bad. I questioned whether the customer service was bad or good after the letter said they refunded my money, because I was dissatisfied with the haircut. The salon said they had good customer service. They welcome me back to the salon. |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Some people just don't know how to apologize. If you really want to fight it, I would get the address of the president of the company, write him, and include a copy of the letter you originally got. I can see why you would feel upset, especially since it seems like no one involved is validating your experience. Seriously though, I would recommend just putting it behind you and moving on, because in the grand scheme of your life, it's not going to matter. Who knows, maybe twenty people will read your online review tomorrow and say the exact same thing happened to them. Or the stylist might realize she treated you badly and decide to clean up her act. I hope you feel better. A good haircut is the best revenge.
