History of the house....
Well it used to be farmland and there was a farmhouse where our house stands now. The family tore it down and built the brick house we live in now. The parents died (I assume in the house) and the son inherited it. He died a few years ago in the hospital. The couple had two daughters both died before they were 40 but they were married and out of the house by then. The sole survivor is the wife. She is currently in a nursing home suffering from bone cancer. That couple lived there for years and the whole town (It is a little bitty town) loved/loves them.
It wouldn't surprise me if the man were there. Adie and Skeeter stopped their nightly growling for a while when I called the man by name and told him where his wife was. I wish I weren't so shy or I would go to visit her.

Don't tease! LOL That is the worst family shot I have ever seen. I would have deleted them if not for the orbs! I guess they don't show up as well here as they do in the original - There are a least 17 in the second photo.

He was living in NC at the time and was suppose to be relocating to NJ. I remember asking my mother everyday what day he was suppose to arrive and she said she wasn't sure that she had been trying to contact him and was unsuccessful, she even called family members and some of his friends and everyone said that they had not seen or heard from him. On the night of March 22 into the 23, 2000 I had a crazy dream, my brother told me he was about to be murdered by two guys he had met recently who were new to the state. He was about to tell me their names and all of a sudden I jump up out of my sleep. I felt uneasy that whole day and the days that followed. Meanwhile, my family did everything they could to locate him which included calling hospitals and police stations. Three weeks had past and still nothing. One night I was baby sitting two of my nieces and the doorbell and phone rung at the same time. I picked up the phone and one of my cousins said open the door, you could hear that something was wrong in his voice and I tried to asked if everything was OK but he kept saying open the door. I went to open the door and his mother was standing there and she was crying and I said to her don't tell me, James is dead isn't he. She look at me like I had two heads and said who told and I said no one I just know.
It turns out that on March 22-23, 2000 the same night as my dream, my brother James was murdered (tortured to death) and his body was thrown in some brushes on the highway. It was one of the worst things to ever happen in that town in NC. Thankfully, his murders were caught about two weeks later as they were trying to flee the state. One of my brother's close friends had witnessed the entire thing, he was actually forced to watch at gun point and told that if he went to police the same thing would happen to him. After three weeks of silence he could not hold it in any longer and he went to the sheriff department... with him as the eyewitness and the evidence linked to the crime the two guys were convicted and is currently serving serious time in prison.
What a horrible thing to have happen to your family. You poor thing! I am so very sorry for your loss. I know you must feel even worse given that you foresaw it.

That's alot of orbs for sure! There has to be something attracting them, did you have them where you lived before? That would keep our pets busy too, so many orbs so few barks! Actually ours don't bark they stare at for the longest time at certain places. The kids say they have smelled something like rotten eggs in the basement and felt/heard things.

No I have never caught an orb on camera before. My DIL and nephew have both caught them on their cameras at our house too. I took a bunch of pictures before we moved in and there isn't a single one to be seen. At that time the new roof was being put on and the AC was being installed with holes in the floor being cut for the vents. One would think that dust particles would show up on the photos then but nothing.

So do you think it is the previous family or maybe we are on an Indian burial ground?

The other day out of the blue I thought of Dom DeLuise and how I haven't heard anything about him in so long. I thought about his weight and how he may not be healthy or live long. Today I come online and see that he died last night. I don't know why I'd think of him it's not like we're related. But again it's just one of those weird things that pop in my head out of nowhere.

I have a photo of our Christmas tree several years ago (we were living in a little house that had recently been remodeled after a fire - the husband died in the fire) that has what appears to be a "ghost" or an "angel" in it. I've had the pic looked at by a professional photographer and he assured me that it wasn't a shadow caused by light, smoke or whatever.

I've also had a few "experiences"...my family was in a horrific car accident (drunk driver doing over 100mph-being chased by a trooper) years ago. I knew that "something terrible" had happened to them at the exact time of impact. We learned this from the clock on the dash in the car. Scared me out of my wits!

I also "know" and actually feel the physical pain when any of my children or my sisters is hurt or ill.

I'm convinced some of us are somehow "tuned in" (for lack of a better term...lol).

A similar thing happened to me!
I hadn't thought of the Dave Clark Five in, well, forever but one day I couldn't stop so I googled them. I found out that my teenage heart throb and the lead singer had formed his own band and was currently touring in the United States. When I checked the schedule I found that they were performing in a club in Chicago that very night! I wish I could have gone but I was unable to. I decided that I would monitor their site so I wouldn't miss it again. Well, shortly after that Mike (Smith) fell off a stone wall that surrounded his home and broke his neck. He was paralyzed from the neck down. He died just a few days before the Dave Clark Five were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Sigh. I missed my only chance to meet him and hear him in person.

K, so something just happened.

Well. My friends Casey and Matt are in my acting class. They have been dating for a bit over a year. They're not like your average high school bf/gf thing. They were actually legit and have had plans to get married after high school.

well. All day today, for some reason, I'd been thinking about them. Even during class, I was looking at them (they were acting totally normal) just thinking that something was weird. About an hour ago I just got this feeling where I just couldn't stop thinking about them and their future and whatnot.

I just signed onto facebook to see Casey's status...they broke up! I am totally shocked.

So yeah. it was kinda weird.

I was channel surfing last night and came across a show I think it was called "Ghost Hunters". The team calls themselves "TAPS" I think, anyway they were checking out a place that started out as a church, then turned to funeral home and now is a railroad museum. Well considering the buildings age and past history I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was haunted. The fact that it has maniquins modeled after actual people who worked/lived there, and especially since the last people who bought the building found the cremated remains of over 30 people from the 1970's still sitting in the basement! HELLO!

Crush...Yeah I can see how that could happen. LOL

I guess I only saw the show because hubby wasn't here. We must watch something else when he's home.

As far as the show I just watched if nobody claimed me after I'd been cremated I'd be a little hurt and angry and maybe haunt the place too! Geez!

Default hmm...

I have felt so out of place until I read some of everyone's posts...there are a lot of times when I will think about something and it will happen for instance I know that a couple of weeks ago I got up got ready and left for work in the car I thought to myself someone is going to call in today and sure enough 2 people did...also I see the number 911 all of the time such as on the clocks or even numbers that add up to it like last night my family went out for dinner my total was 18:83 1+8=9 8+3=11...I don't know what it means or why I see it everywhere I have just come to think of it as God telling me he's there and everything will be okay...

On another hand I have an aunt (the one that watches my daughter and me when I was a little girl) that had a daughter that got killed in a horrific car accident 1 month and 15 days before I was born she said that she had purchased a small life insurance policy on her daughter in case anything happened for the life insurance policy you only had to pay $1.00 for the whole first year and then the premium would increase after that...the morning her daughter was killed she mailed off the $1.00 check to cover the first year...
