| ![]() Does anyone "find" stuff. I have been finding watches all of my life. If I had to count I would say I've found over twenty of them. Only once have I been able to find the owner. Since I cross a big parking lot to get into the building here at work I am finding them more frequently. Right now I have one sitting on my desk that I just found in the lobby! |

I found them throughout the trip as well and they were all white. I had to laugh to myself after awhile when I stopped to think of how many I had actually seen in a week. While packing to leave I put my cell phone in a dresser drawer as hubby always takes his. He hates me using mine due to roaming charges. I leave it at home so it's one less thing to worry about losing if I'm not even going to use it. I had a strong feeling to take it, so I took it out of the drawer and put it back in my purse. Good thing I did, the trip to CA was a trip from hell. Anything that could go wrong did including us going through Phoenix instead of Denver where hubby and I got seperated at the airport. If I had not had my phone and been able to call him to meet up again we would have missed our connection (especially since he had my ticket). As it was he got to the gate before me and they said I had less than 5 min to get there. I arrived in the nick of time, we were the last of about 5 people to get on the full flight to CA.

| ![]() This was about 3-4 years ago, me and DH were driving to his Grandma's house, and we were on a road that was 2 lanes (one each direction) and the speed limit was 55. Well we were approaching a red light and there was 2-3 cars in front of us then all of a sudden my DH pulled off the road next to the guard rail, I looked over at him and said "what are you doing?" He said "I don't know, something just told me to get off the road" just as he said that we heard squeeling tires headed towards us, it smashed into the car that was in front of us. It was 4 teenagers in convertable. we made sure everyone was ok and went on our way. I was shaken up for a very long time after that. Then once at his Grandma's house, we were staying the night, well I decided to go on to bed, maybe 1 minute after I had gotten settled in bed I seen a shadow go across the door way, I thought it was one of his cousins and ignored it, well all of a sudden the down comforter I had on me lifted up and went back down, and I couldn't move or talk for what seemed like forever but maybe only 30-40 seconds, I regained my voice and started screaming for my DH as soon as I was able to scream I got control of my body back and I ran out of there so fast it was unreal. I told DH and his grandma what happened and they just laughed and said "oh don't worry that was just Grandma or Aunt Sis" I found out both are dead and used to live there. They have both seen them in the house before. Needless to say i've never been alone in any room of that house since lol. My DH has seen both of them, once he walked into a room and one was sitting in one of the chairs, clear as day, he said she didn't look like a ghost she just looked normal. I told my DH when she passes we are selling the house (if she leaves it to us, which she has made hints that she is).

| ![]() -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We had moved into our new house in oct 04 in AZ. I mean it was brand new, new home development new. Anyways, one morning I had gotten home from work (I work nights) and went into the den and I heard this crash in the kitchen, I found a frying pan on the floor in front of the stove. I know that doesnt sound strange, but what is strange is where it came from. I had put the dishes away before I went to work, and it was in the cabinent on the island across the way and diagonal. It would have to have flew across the kitchen and land there??? Then I would hear my name called at various times...and no one there... My BIL and SIL came and lived with us after their baby was born until they could get back on their feet and she said she would hear her name called too?? Once we were watching a movie and after it was done she went into their room to grab a diaper for the baby (I went w/ her because we were chatting). When we went into their room the baby's baby swing was swinging by itself (It is one of those you have to crank). When she screamed my hubby and her hubby came running in, it stopped. They thought we were crazy! Then once my husband was working on his radio in his car in the garage, he was taking pix of his aftermarket stereo to sell. He said he felt someone watching him, so he started taking pix in the direction...and when he looked there was an orb ... and it was coming toward him (over 2-3 pics). Once I was cooking breakfast around 3am (husband leaves at 4-4:30am) because I was off that night and would be nice to have breakfast together before he left. Anyways, I heard a man's name, in my right ear, clear as day say " Mmmmm, that smells GOOD". At the time it didnt scare me, it more confused me...like "huh?" Then I turned around, no one there, went to the front living room....no one, back living room...no one...I went to peek in the bedroom, hubby was sound asleep, even my Yorkie (who barks at every little thing) was sound asleep. I went back to finish, then I started thinking and replaying it in my head and it freked me out!! I went and woke hubby up and made him sit in there w/ me!!! LOL My SIL and BIL moved out and it was just us 3 (me, hubby and bella-bean) Then the doorbell started ringing! I would get up, walk all the way to the front, no-one there... I mean it got so bad I had my hubby hook up a video survallance camera we got at fry's electronics for like $200 w/ a b&W monitor. (BTW when he hooked up it it was like 11pm and no kids outside, when he turned up the sound, we heard kids laughing/playing, he went to check, nothing....so he was all "we dont need the sound ne ways") The doorbell again started ringing, and when I would check the monitor, no one was there! I sleep days and work nights mind you, I started getting REALLY mad, so I said "Quit ringing the damn doorbell, no one wants you here, in the name of Christ LEAVE!!" -it never rang again...... My husband would make fun of me, saying I must be crazy or soemthing, because he didnt believe in these things I was telling him....until one night... I was working (I work 6pm-6am) and he said was sleeping, felt someone watching him, he said he saw someone standing next to the bed and when it saw him loking at it, it ran toward the front of the house thru the wall and disappeared....he said it was pitch black in the room, and that this figure was darker than the dark room, so dark he was able to make out a man shape. He never made fun of me again....and till this day sleeps with a nightlight even if we travel he takes one w/ him! ...needless to say we moved....moved to a different state even...in 2007. All this is true and happened in a house we had built, brand new on an old corn field. crazy eh? |

| ![]() wow how creepy. My hubby and I lived in an old house in england when we were first married. We had our phone disconnected early when we were moving back to the US to save money. Out of the blue one night-the phone started ringing and I ran to check it...the line was dead. It kept doing it only in the middle of the night for a week straight. I called the phone co out to check the line cuz i thought it was creepy. They couldnt find anything wrong with it. Then i got really creeped and unplugged the phone. It continued to ring all hours of the night and then started during the day. I let the battery die and placed a pillow over it so i couldnt hear it and it finally stopped. |

| ![]() I have a few stories - one was about my mom and I'll try to keep it short cause it can get into a loooong story. Anyways, my mom got deathly ill on December 26, 2006 and was rushed to the hospital where they told us in about 2 hours she would have been dead. She stayed in the hospital for 2.5 months in ICU intubated. About 2-3 weeks after she was admitted, I had found out I was pregnant, then a week after I found out I had a miscarriage. I never mentioned anything about "baby" in my mom's room and she was completely knocked out anyways. About mid February then took the tubes out of her and put the trach on her and she was really drugged. I was visiting her and out of no where she says (as best as she could) "I've got to get out of here. I have to go buy baby shoes." I started laughing cause it was pretty random and told her she had no reason to buy baby shoes and she was still really sick and needed to stay where she was. A couple weeks later she was getting better and they took her off of some of the medications, so she was more herself and that's when I finally told her what she had said, then I told her how I had been pregnant and lost the baby. She said, I knew it all along. How in the world did she know that?! Another mom story. My mom has a lot of chronic illnesses. Anyways, she had gone in for her yearly physical and of course had blood work and all that. She wasn't feeling sick or anything, so it wasn't that big of a deal. Before my mom got home that day, I had a strange feeling. She came home and after saying hello, she told me that she had something to tell me. Before she could say anything I said, "You have diabetes don't you?" and sure enough, her bloodwork came back positive for diabetes. Another story of mine - last year or about a year and a half ago I had started a new medicine for insomnia and had an allergic reaction to it. My cousin's girlfriend (ex girlfriend now) called me later in the day and asked how I was feeling, so being confused why she would ask since I hadn't talked to her all day, I told proceeded to tell her that I had an allergic reaction to my medicine. She said "Yea I know, that's why I called. You told me a couple days ago." Of course, I hadn't even picked up the prescription a couple days ago, so how could I have taken it. She swears up and down that I had told her days before and I definitely did not.

| ![]() 2 yrs ago, several people close to me passed away in a relatively short period of time. 3 of my closest friends' sons died which really freaked me out since I have 3 boys. Keith was 32 and died of brain cancer. It was a year that he had been sick and it got really horrible at the end. His mom and I would talk daily, she was in California and I was in North Carolina. Sometimes I would talk to Keith and try to keep his spirits up. For some reason, my son who was 4 yrs at the time, took a huge interest in Keith although he never met him in person and knew nothing about him. We lived at the beach and he would collect rocks and shells for him and they would all have some meaning my son would point out. He made him a video of himself doing a magic show for him (which was hilarious) and all sorts of sweet gestures. He would mail all of this to Keith and Keith would call to thank him and tell him how much it meant to him. My kids and I were driving to New York for vacation at Christmas time and my cell rang. It was Phyllis, Keith's mom. She began telling me this sweet story about it being Solstice and how she was at Keith's bedside holding his hand, rubbing his forehead and telling him the story of Winter Solstice and the passing over n all and then he closed his eyes and made his transition. Of course, I'm in tears as she's telling me this story and Jack is in his car seat asleep. A few minutes after I hang up with Phyllis, Jack wakes up and says mom mom, I'm glad Keith is ok. I said "huh?" "Yep, he says he feels all better now." I asked where he thought Keith was and he answered, "right there" (pointing next to him). I will remind you he had never met him or seen pics. When my friend Jeff's son was killed on an ATV at the age of 13, it came on the news and I started freaking out. I heard his name but somehow my brain wouldn't have any of it. I finally settled down and made a phone call to see what happened. My heart was truly broken for Jeff and his family. I just couldn't believe it. Jack, who was 4 at the time, came in to see about me. He wanted to know who died so I told him Jeff's boy had an accident and died. I showed him a picture of Alex and he started laughing. I was very confused and a bit upset that he would do that so I asked him why he was laughing. He said, "mom mom, he's not dead! That's my friend. He always takes me with him!!!" I said, 'Huh? what do you mean?" He said, "you know, cuz he likes me and let's me come with him every time." That's the best I could get from him though. Unfortunately, he didn't have anything for my friend Bill who's son Evan shot himself to death at age 15 that same year. I often think my son Jack is deeply connected with the "before and after" places.
