ok so i dont no if u guys remember or not. We got Abby in march of 2008. My grandfather passed away in 2003 from cancer. Well to be honest, i have never been scared or visited by him (that i know of) besides the dreaming about him and stuff. He has never scared me n i thankkkkk him for that i wud surely pass out.

Well in around the month of May or so Abby wud always go craazy at either midnite or 3am. It was so weird n it freaked me out. Like clockwork midnite wud come n we wud all b watching tv in the living room or my bedroom. She wud runnnnn barkingggg loud n stare at something in the corner of the kitchen ceiling. This freaked me out bad cuz a lot of the times i wud b sleeping n she wud run again like crazy at 3am n bark at the ceiling.

One day i decided to take her to the cemetary to officially meet my grandfather. Well they were introduced to each other and i swear she never did it again. Till this day. We have Jack too n nothing happens. I still have to introduce him to my grandpa.

One of our kids and their fiance swear there is something in the basement. I can't say I have experienced what they have but I've never spent the time down there the kids have. There has been a couple things upstairs that have raised my eyebrows a couple times that I just blew off as my imagination. However our yorkie and especially our cat see/stare at things we can't see. We joke and say they see the kids ghost from the basement. Heck maybe they really do!

My friends and family insist that I'm psychic but I have never been able to use it for good LOL. Like if I was trying to predict something it wouldn't happen. However things pop out of my mouth when I'm not thinking about it. Once, after my best friend told him about me, a guy decided to test me and asked me his girlfriend's name. I immediately said "Joan." Her name is, in fact, Jean but it convinced him. Another time I was passing a coworker in the hall after work and immediately after he said "goodnight" I blurted out "cowboy hat." I had no idea why I said it but he stopped dead in his tracks and asked me why said it. I told him that I had no idea it just came out of my mouth without me thinking about it. He then told me that he was thinking about the cowboy hat he was going to go buy after work. I really spooked him. LOL.

Someone once asked me how my father was and I answered that he was doing fine and that he had just gotten a raise. Right after I said that I wondered why - I even felt guilty for lying to the person. So of course the next time I talked to my mother she told me about my dad's raise. I could go on but these are minor not so interesting things I guess.

My dreams are the real kicker in my life. I ALWAYS tell people when I dream about them because they often come true and I've learned that if I tell them after the fact they don't believe me. Sometimes the dreams are cryptic. When my oldest son was a baby I dreamed I saw him in a coffin. I was terrible shaken by the dream but even more so when I found out that an old friends baby had been killed in a car accident. Our sons were both named Tony and they were born one day apart. I had never seen him so I guess my mind showed me the closest thing it could come up with. Too bad I didn't understand it before the accident. I can tell y'all more if ya want! LOL I live in a haunted house too.

Hubby and I went to a company Christmas party at his bosses house one year. When we got there I was introduced to his boss and the bosses wife. We then mingled with other guests and saw the boss and his wife several times talking to others. Then I got a jolt when one time I looked at his boss and he was dressed like everyone else. Up till that time whenever I looked at him I saw him dressed as a priest, and that didn't seem odd to me at all. I never figured that one out and it's not like I could ask.

We looked at each other, looked at the dogs and finally I was just like, "What the he** was THAT!?" That was actually one of the first things that happened.
Oh my god, I would wet myself and pass out!

Of course, he never has and he only has an older brother. The other day he said, Mom, I don't understand, how did I get from my grandparents to your belly? How do I answer that question?
Very odd!! I would be asking a million questions about his life with his grandparents in order to get to the bottom of this.

Well....a lot of times, I know things will happen before they do. Not all the time, of course, but it happens a lot.

Like once, I told my "DH" that our daughter was getting ready to call, and as soon as I said that, she called.

Sometimes, I will feel "strange", like something is happening to my daughter...so when she gets home, I will ask how she felt today, and sometimes, she will have been sick or got hurt or angry.

I think I know these things about my daughter because we are so close....but I know things sometimes about other people or happenings too.

I sometimes have "dreams/thoughts" where I see things and they happen too.

Like once, I dreamed I was cleaning the basement and found money...well, so I of course got on the ball and started cleaning the basement and found $40 in a birthday card!

And another....I dreamed that a tree fall across our hiking/4wheeler trial when DD was on the trial...so we wouldn't let her go down there for a long time....two days later a big Oak tree had fallen across the trial where she always goes.

I have a lot of those "experiences".....

A recent weird thing.....before the divorce started....and I didn't have a clue that anything bad was happening....but my ring finger swelled up soooo bad...I mean it was HUGE and purple. I had to wake "DH" up late that night and he had to cut my wedding rings off....I had that sickening feeling that those rings shouldn't be broken....and then two weeks later, found out about the cheating and divorce, etc. Too bad I didn't see that coming!

I've never really trusted my horoscope either, until recently......they have been spot on for about 2 months now! I mean, scary spot on!!!

I use to be REALLY close to my "DH", I mean, I have been with him for a long time...but I use to creep him out because I would often times know what he was thinking or going to say or ask for before he even said it.

I also remember a few months ago telling my "DH" that we needed to go to the doctor because one of us was probably diabetic. Well, he wasn't and I wasn't...but my blood sugar was out of whack and I have had to stay away from sugar...which was a good thing because I have lost weight.

I get that strange feeling of dejavu a lot....even if I KNOW I have never been some place, I can sometimes go there and know exactly where things are or how to get there...like I can see/remember going there, the road, sites, etc.

Me too! My dh has gotten so use to it he will start sentences midway between a though and expect me to know what he is talking about. LOL funny thing is I usually do. I would blame it on 26 years of marriage but it has been that way all along. I'm that way with my two sons also.

I went with dh to his place of work on a Saturday and he was showing me around. When we got to the locker room he said "OK Ms Psychic, which locker is mine?" Like I said before I usually can't do "psychic" on command but I walked by each locker and sense a difference in one of them so I said that I felt it was this one. I was right. I think that is the day he really started believing in my sixth sense. LOL.

My mom has...psychic tendancies, for lack of better term. Actually, I do to, but it's nothing compared to her! Some of the stuff she's 'done' is really freaky. To share a few examples:

--When I was taking my Psych classes in college, we had to conduct a study for one of our assignments. I used my mom and did my paper on channeling psychic abilities. I got several pictures (all I remember was one was a castle and one was a sailboat) and my family members took turns concentraiting on one of the pictures and my mom tried to describe what they were looking at. Needless to say, she was able to peg several off them quite accurately.

--My sis recently got engaged, called me as soon as it happened and told me. Was hesitant about telling my parents (heaven only knows why) and put it off for a week. Within an hour of her having called me to share the news, my mom called randomly and asked if I was OK. I assured her I was and asked her why...she said that she just had this overwhelming feeling that something was wrong with me or my sister....that "something big had happened to one of us."

--Years ago, a very close friend of my parents was murdered by her ex husband, who dumped her body in a river (which was found months later). My dad was one of the people that searched for her in the area woods days after she went missing. After the 2nd day, he came home, share the news that nothing had been found and my mom just looked at him and said..."You're not looking in the right place...she's not in the woods. She's near the water...everytime I think about her, all I see is water all around her!"
Wow.....thats really neat. I dont talk about it much, but I've had several very similar experiences. My twin sister is the same way.....and so is my aunt. One of my other sisters as well (she actually called me the day my son was born and said "your having a baby today"...I told her she was crazy because I wasnt having contractions, but that night I had to have an emergency C-section due to liver complications).

Whats funny is---I always seem to have an element of doubt when someone tells me their so-called prediction.....or I have a vision, dream or feeling something is going to happen. I dont know why I have doubts. Maybe its because society isnt always accepting of gut instinct.

Thats just awful about the friend of your family...i hope the guy who killed her was caught and brought to justice.

We have lived in the same house with the same neighbors behind us for 16 years. I called to the husband to get his attention about a tree on the property line. A couple days later his wife was out and I talked to her about an update on the removal, and she kept referring to her husband as Tom. At first I thought I was confused and she was talking about someone else. So I finally asked her, is your husbands name Tom, I called him Joe. She said yes her husbands name was Tom, he had a brother named Joe. I said oh, maybe I met him in the past and that's where I got confused. She said no, you've never met Joe and never will. I don't know what she meant by that, I guess he was to kind to correct me when I called him by his brother's name. I had referred to him as Joe a few times, why I don't know. But boy was I caught off guard and kinda felt weird about the whole thing.

I have a twin sister. She had a baby years ago and he was almost a year old. One night, I was asleep and had a dream that Justin (the baby) was going to die. I woke up sweating and shaking. It was 4:20 am and at that moment, the phone rang. It was my twin sister telling me that something was wrong with Justin. I told her to get him to the ER right now. She assured me that he was ok but acting kinda strange. I told her that I just had a dream of Justin passing away. I met her at the ER and he indeed died a few hours later.

I also dream of things and most of my dreams come true. My dad quit smoking for a while and my mom and dad went to FL. for a couple of months. I called my mom and said mom, dad is smoking again. She said what makes you think that? I told her that I had a dream. She admitted that he was smoking again.

I also will sing songs in my car and then while I'm singing them I turn on the radio and that song will be on at the same place in the song that I just sung.

This is a little different, but when my twin sister was pregnant, I too had morning sickness. Same goes for her when I was pregnant.

Thats very interesting.....If I speak of my dreams, they dont happen. So my family just lets me ramble on about my dreams in hopes my nightmares dont come true.

Yesterday was funny though. I called my husband and my sisters and said I took a trip to england, made new friends who had monkeys that looked like curious george and a grass man. I felt like I was on another planet. LOL

Omg

When growing up I had a aunt that always told me when she passed away she hoped to come back as a dog. She passed away from cancer and was cremated and taken to Wytheville, Virginia where she wanted he ashes spread on my grandfathers grave. After the service the family was standing in front of the church and I looked over to my grandfathers grave and there sitting in the middle of his grave was a Jack Russell Terrier looking over at us.
