| My hair is a nightmare!! Yesterday, I went to my usual stylist for just basically a few long layers and root touch up. Well...I ended up with red, black and dark blond hair because my roots weren't covered up properly. The red is horribly uneven throughout my hair. And my poor hair itself is uneven! I'm not sure what to do. I paid over $100 for hair that I hate. Should I go back to the salon and have someone fix it? There really isn't much that can be done to salvage the cut except for cutting off all my hair ! I really do like my stylist and don't want to reflect poorly on her but I just can't stand this.... What would you guys do??

| I would go back and get them to fix it. Most hair stylists don't want you to be disappointed because they want you to come back. If you hate the color, get it dyed exactly the way you want it and be specific so they don't mess it up And if the cut is uneven, see if they can even it out while salvaging the length. They should NOT charge you for fixing their mistakes. Good luck! Post a picture when your masterpiece is complete

| i'm a hairstylist! and i am VERY particular about my work!! if my client was unhappy i would want to know.. if she is your normal stylist, and you are a loyal client.. i don't think she would have a problem fixing it for you!! even if you said the cut can't really be fixed.. maybe she can blend it some, or perhaps soften it, so it doesn't look so harsh? also.. if she were to fix the color, i guarantee that would make you feel SO much better about it! good luck! and i hope you get it all worked out!! COME TO CA. i'll fix ya up!!

| I would go back also and just be honest with her. I know my stylist wont do anything to my hair she doesn't feel will look good on me. Like I said how I would love to try a darker look and she said NOOooo you have light olive skin and it wont look good on you. Another girl was in her chair wanting some color and she refused to do it, she said I am telling you, you will be back the next day hating it. Well the girl went somewhere else and did it and ended up coming back to my stylist to fix it. My stylist just has the know on what you will look like and what is good for you and I admire her for turning people away and refusing to do it, she could be making a lot of money, but she is honest. I am lucky I found her. Good luck and I hope they fix it to your liking |

| Well ladies...its fixed! The cut was salvageable and the color, well we figured something out. The pinkish hue is gone and now its a nice mahogany brown all over. A little darker than I'd like, but it works I may post a pic tomorrow!
