 Cow tongue!! Iiccckkkyyuucckk! I am glad you came to your senses and no longer eat that. :p When my daughter was little and we were in the meat department at the grocers, she saw a cow tongue and asked me what it was. When I told her she just wouldn't believe me. I can totally understand why she wouldn't want to believe it! LOL |

This is definitely one I have never heard of before. This thread has been most informative! LOL at your kids reaction to this, I am sure quite delightful, treat. I am with them. I would have to pass on this one. :p |
I have to say that Ihave found something that outdoes the Century Egg. I was talking to my husband about this thread because in my opinion, that man will eat anything. He has been in many countries and eaten a lot of things that I could NEVER consider food. He is an eee-ew man for sure. But....he thought I was talking about something called Balut that is a delicacy of the Philippines. I had to research this and I will tell you that it is far beyond anything that I would consider edible that my mind just won't wrap around it. I am providing this link with this warning: IF YOU HAVE A QUEASY STOMACH, DON"T CLICK! IF YOU HAVE A CAST IRON STOMACH, CLICK AWAY! Link: Deep End Dining: Balut. The Egg of Darkness. Pinoy-Pinay. Panorama City, CA. |

I like Bean soup, with cornbread, sauerkraut and ketchup all mixed together I also put ketchup on Bacon. |

My younger sister mixes all of her food together, too. I will only mix certain things together and only to certain degrees. Like the mashed potatoes...I will put other foods with them on the same fork bite but not really 'mixed' together. Peas also with them. If we have baked beans I will do the same with them and potato salad. I love potatoes any way you can fix them. I just can't seem to mix grits with anything other than butter unless it is an egg. So....we still haven't had anyone beat the Century Egg. :p C'mon. I know somebody is just not 'fessin' up.[/QUOTE] I could NEVER mix my food up!!!! That would drive me crazy! I like to eat one thing at a time, and most times I think I eat all of one thing at a time! Like all my steak, then all my veg... like that. |
I saw them eat that on Survivor too. YUCK!! I could not have done it! |

This thread is so funny! I won't eat any seafood even though I am a New Englander. I do put ketchup on my eggs and maple syrup on my bacon. (yum!) I won't eat sausage or anything with goobly bits in it. I'll only eat white meat from turkey or chicken and won't eat any wild game. Fat and skin just grosses me out so I have to trim every piece off of my meat and throw it away. I love banana flavor but can't eat bananas because the texture grosses me out  My husband eats salted shallots right out of the jar and used to pour vinegar over an onion and eat it. Bleck! He also likes Poutin, french fries with cheese and gravy on it. (heart attack in a plate!!) (he's french canadian can't help it) Peanut butter on an apple is so delicious and that cookie soup (soak cookies in a bowl of milk) thing sounds just delicious..especially if made with oreos :) Oh yeah sorry ladies..... Miracle Whip rules :D |
When I was a kid I ate Dill pickle and mayo sandwiches. I still love PB and Banana sandwiches.:) I love Bacon Gravy w/ grits, and fried eggs. Syrup goes on any breakfast meat especially scrapple. And my absolute favorite thing is Sushi.;) |

Well.... I had thought that we would be able to use the polling section to have interested parties vot, but it says 'Yorkie related only".... Therefore, I do truly and absolutely believe that potter is the winner of this here tell it all Eeeeeeee-ew thread. Does anyone vote for anything else. Unless someone comes on here and truthfully tell me they ate balut:eek:, I think the Century Egg has it all the way. :D What think ye? |
wow, this is very interesting :) So many of you eat really weird food combinations... I don't think I eat anything weird though... |
hmm weird things I eat...pigs feet, chicken feet, jelly fish, fried frog legs, stuffed pigs intestines, Kimchi (Korean fermented cabbage), and I'm sure theres more...but my hubby eats worse things... |
