I grew up eating pickles with my spaghetti with tomato sauce. Not sure why, but to this day I still eat pickles with my pasta. To me it just goes together. Most people think it's weird, but now I have my husbands whole family doing it! LOL |

I just wanted to say "thank you" to all those that brought up Eagle Brand in the past few days. I bought a can today....not to cook with, but to EAT IT WITH A SPOON!!!:D. Yummy! |
Eagle brand is THE brand to use in cafe sua da (viet coffee). It's the most bitterest coffee you've ever tasted, and then you put in the most sweetest sweetened condended milk on the planet. If you ask me, I say "ewww" For me, tonight I'm having sake (salmon) poke topped with ikura (salmon eggs). Lemme hear an "ewwwww!" |

This is silly but when I brought baked goods to our families Christmas dessert I announced everything I made was 100 % organic. One of my aunts said eww and her and her husband wouldn't touch anything I made! They thought organic implied tasteless weird stuff...I was like whatever your loss. Later several people came up and were like wow organic stuff is actually good what sweetner did you use...I said organic sugar...they looked shocked lol! |

I put hard sourdough pretzels on a paper plate and pour orange juice on them, let sit for a minute....mmmmmm good! |

I would try it ~ no guarantees :p :p :p |
Middle of the night, Orange juice and hard pretzels (always have em), when I get up up, even for a piddle, I have to eat something! Now I can't eat them without this...try eating them and dunking with OJ...gradually work your way up to be as lazy as me and just pour the juice on them then eat! |

Well, I had the uni in San Diego at Nobu last month... ;p And it was fantabulous! I'm used to the already scooped out uni, which is plenty good, but the freshness just puts it over the top. Uni is sort of like foie gras of the sea, it's not that scary at all... :) Never seen fresh uni anywhere here, but Shiro's in downtown Seattle might have it (though they are a bit pricy). Also, you can buy fresh uni from seafood markets in the Seattle Chinatown area, or thereabouts, at least from what I've read.... Where Can I Buy Sea Urchin Roe (Uni)? - Greater Seattle - Chowhound |

My friend walked in on me drinking pickle juice for heartburn ~ she was totally grossed out. I don't get it...I even drink it when I don't have heartburn :winky: |

* Fried chicken livers and hot sauce ! = ) Not really that weird but not a lot of people eat them with hot sauce either. * Plain white rice with soy sauce and hot pepper flakes. * A Baloney and cheese sandwich with mayo, lettuce and Potato chip (inside). Love it ! * Oh and my favorite thing to eat that makes people (my family) go eww is when I eat a Rare cooked steak. |

Not as good as expected the flavors are bland and all mushed together. I dowsed them in mustard it helped a lot. Honestly I ate 2 and got a stomach ache, I see the appeal in the recipe though. I'm a lil foody snob though too, so I am totally motivated despite my culinary handicap to figure out naking pretzel bread, finding pretzel salt and making my own. |
