Oh, we are getting close to a contender for the Crown. But even though these are pretty eeee-ew...that Century Egg still has it. :p

Isn't there a name for the soda mixture? I think we called it a Suicide when we were young. Can't really remember. I'm too old. :D

Okay. You'all are starting to scare me not gross me out..haha..maybe we shouldn't be so surprised when our furbabies eat poop..just look at all the things you tried..haha.just kidding..

Haha yeah suicide. I just remembered another that really grosses people out is that I put balsamic vinegar on anything! I even put a little in my milk. I had never tried until a couple months ago and got addicted.

Oh lol whenever I go to golden corral I must get a bowl of ice cream mixed with their chicken noodle soup. I don't know why but I love it, everyone always looks at me disgusted.

I LOVE salt on my peaches - fresh,canned,it doesn't matter.

And this is not a food, but a drink. I LOVE salted peanuts in my Coca-Cola! YYYUUUMMMMMM!!!

I mix my potato salad and baked beans together, I also put ketchup on my potato salad and a lot of other stuff. My mom hates it when I put sugar in my spaghetti, I also put jalpeno peppers on my pizza and dip my frito bbq twists chips into my rainbow sherbet ice cream yum!:p

None of this seems too 'off the wall' to me except the bbq twist/rainbow sherbet thing. :eek: BBQ sherbet is not a flavor I have ever considered. :p

I want to say that I have tremendously enjoyed this thread and so I want to say thank you to everyone that has participated/posted. It has been so revelatory and a lot of fun!

I think this is post number 102 (ETA: Nope....#103). I know everyone cannot be evening posters. So...when this thread reaches two hundred, I would like to take a vote on the one that deserves the honors for the biggest Eeeee-ew. The crown of Eeeee-ew will be given. I will send them a prize. BUT....it has to be real.... no 'stretching it' or creative posting. So far, my vote goes for the Century Egg.

We can do a poll at the two hundred number and we can all vote. I will send a Yorkie related prize to the winner.

Lol to be honest I actually read the whole thread after your last post just now about the Century Egg i never heard of it and I am glad I haven't lol. Yes in all honesty I love chitterlings i know i spell it wrong lol. We mostly cook it around Thanksgiving and Christmas with rice and candied yams, i am getting hungry thinking about it. I eat Pig's feet rarely , my mom eats them every chance she can get!:p Okay done with grossing you out lol off to bed!:p:D

You don't spell it wrong. Actually, I do. I just like to spell it like we called it. Yours is the correct way. ;)

Since vinegar is used to create 'sour' milk when buttermilk is called for in a recipe (and you only have 'sweet milk') ....this is very icky to me. Do you drink buttermilk?

I had a friend that poured buttermilk over fritos and ate it for breakfast. We ate milk on cornbread when I lived in the south but this fritos and buttermilk was just waaayyy out there for me. :eek:

Icecream and chicken noodle soup??!!?? Whoa!! :D:D:D:D

Edited to ask: What ever made you try the vinegar in the milk? Just call me 'very curious'......

I'm with Nikki, I love chicken hearts!!! They are sooooo good! My friends always say it's gross! I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes them!

hmm..... OH.. we eat crawfish! thats something that MANY ppl wont eat if theyre not from around here.
but i dont think they realize how we season them and cook them.. if you want REAL crawfish, go to a REAL crawfish boil at someones house...... not at a restaurant.

The crawfish never sounded TOO bad...but then they said, "suck the head" and ruined it forever!!!!! :eek:

I don't eat them anymore. I actually don't eat any meat so the idea that I used to eat hearts is kind of awful to me. My grandmother used to make them for me when I was a child.:p

When I was little I used to eat macaroni and cheese with sugar sprinkled on top. I actually thought that's how everyone ate it until on of my friends looked at me really weird when I did it.. haha

Dont know if its already been said........

Im in UK, amongst other stuff like Haggis, offal etc.... i like black pudding, its made from pigs blood boiled up with fat cubes sometimes barley and put in a sausage skin, you can eat it fried hot or just cold its like a sort of meat. Different areas do different types, ie ireland does black and white pudding.

boiled peanuts are good.. they's a big thing in central florida.

I like to eat scrambled eggs and ketchup it's a midwestern thing.. I've met tons from the midwest who do it but hardly any outside of it.

I use to eat raw buiscuts (the kind you buy then break and bake)

I also eat mac and cheese with ketchup

oh heres one you should try.. my friend taught it to me and I taught it to my husband.. You have to be at wendy's to do this but we dip our fries in our frosty's

I don't eat anything truly gross but there's alot of things I like that makes my friends and family go ewww!

Peanut butter with mayo and pickle
Ox tongue sandwiches! Yummm!
Brawn sarnies (not sure of spelling but brawn is pigs head I think, it may be cow, not sure but its lovely on bread with mayo and salad!)
Raw mushrooms dipped in garlic mayo
Onions fried in butter and sugar on a bread roll
Chicken skin and gristle (I love the texture!)
Goose eggs, they have a very strong smell and my friends hate coming round when I'm cooking them!
Pork cracklin
Cheese and jam(jelly) any type on bread/cracker's

There's a few Uk delicacies that I haven't tried such as Haggis,jellied eels and Bacon and egg ice-cream!

I love WEndys fries in their frosties. Thats a common thing around here.
