I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Well this is something kinda silly - but I would love crown moulding in my house. HOWEVER... I can't have it because I have HUGE vaulted ceilings in both my living room and my kitchen. Oh well, I will have it in my next house!!!

| So many good ideas here! I would refinish my floors. Our house was "flipped" and the "flippers" did some crappy jobs -- one being our hardwoods. They varnished them or something and put a fan on it to dry and it's all bubbled and it peels off, leaving unfinished spots! Of course we didn't notice this before we bought the house *rolls eyes* I'd love to finish our basement. It leaks during strong rains and so we have to get that fixed before we can ever make our plans happen of renovating it into a master bedroom/bathroom w/walk in closet. I'd also love a new "patio". We have a raised patio, but it could really use to be redone, retiled, ect |

| I bought my townhouse as is, but if I could change some things this would be it. I would have put a 'hole' in the kitchen wall above the stove to let more light in from the front door. I would have put a nicer glass sliding door or even french doors. I would have put the upstairs bathroom fan and light on 2 different switches (the downstairs is like that, I dont get why they put the upstairs one on 1 switch, except maybe bc there is no window). I would have put wood cabinets instead of those ugly white ones in the kitchen and bathrooms and granite counters! I wish I could do all this to my house but with the market right now, any upgrades to your house just go unnoticed appraisal wise, at least in my area! Anyways, have fun!!!

Oh yeah, I would also have gone with nicer lights, they put the cheapest, ugliest lights in here!
