I bought my townhouse as is, but if I could change some things this would be it. I would have put a 'hole' in the kitchen wall above the stove to let more light in from the front door. I would have put a nicer glass sliding door or even french doors. I would have put the upstairs bathroom fan and light on 2 different switches (the downstairs is like that, I dont get why they put the upstairs one on 1 switch, except maybe bc there is no window). I would have put wood cabinets instead of those ugly white ones in the kitchen and bathrooms and granite counters!
I wish I could do all this to my house but with the market right now, any upgrades to your house just go unnoticed appraisal wise, at least in my area! Anyways, have fun!!!
Oh yeah, I would also have gone with nicer lights, they put the cheapest, ugliest lights in here!
