You can't ban me in the pictures forum! And what does poor little Eddie's lack of opposing thumbs have to do with your poor listening skills??? Sounds like you are trying to get a little off topic to me. You didn't respond to any of the valid points made in Eddie's defense. OVERRULED!!

That's too funny. And I've been there. I've learned to downsize when Bailey is OUTSIDE and has no idea, then quickly place them in a plastic bag and hide them in the closet..

I just give mine to neighbors so when ever I see them I quickly grab them and shove them out the door before he can get a wiff.

Eddie reminds me of my sons when they were little. I'd clean out their toy box and they'd be in tears telling me why they "needed" one of the ones I was throwing out!

It's not any better with our yorkies, is it? When I throw toys in the washer, they line up to see exactly what I'm doing with 'em and you'd think I'd given them a steak bone when they come out of the dryer!

Well since you banned delisa....i feel it necessary to take over as Eddie's advocate LoL Mike..tisk tisk tisk....you KNOW you'd be kicking and screaming if your wife and Eddie even attempted at throwing away something precious of yours. These toys are probably his buddies..hek, Eddie probably even named him. Right now he's probably saying "hey..where are you going with Buddy?!!!"

I had a friend that is in the military..and when he was restationed somewhere else..i started calling him Yoko and saying "YOKO!!! You're breaking up the band man!!" lol Mike..in this case..you're Yoko!!! You're breaking up Eddie's band!!

This whole post has had me completely giggling and so darn early in the am. lol
I totally understand about weeding out the old and unfortunately we keep or should I say "I", keep coming in with the new! She has us -- no me... completely wrapped around her little paw~!!!

Welllll I'm not on anyone's side but this is sort of a problem of your own making Mike. If you ever get rid of all these toys, then maybe in the future when you rotate 1 new toy in you should take 1 old toy out. That'll keep the collection from growing. Jamie only gets 5 of his toys at a given time then I rotate them with other toys every couple of days so he always thinks he's getting new stuff.

For now I think you're just gonna have to let it go and sneak the toys out 1 by 1. LOL!

Okay Mike, I am in no way taking sides but offering a suggestion. This is what I do with my skin and fur kids. When they are no longer playing with a particular toy, it goes in a box in the top of my closet. Then when they ask for a new toy I get one out of the box and it is like brand new to them. Trust me they still get plenty of new stuff.

And one thing to consider is that mommy might feel the need to replace everything that you toss. And then some.

Mike, I forgot to add that your heart is in the right place by thinking of donating the toys rather than tossing them.
Maybe if you explained that to the baby he might be able to part with some of them for such a noble reason.
