| Their hair grows faster to the floor because their legs are only 2 1/2 inches long!!! That's like my Brooke, she has the shortest legs so her coat looks long!!

| Yea but "teapot" is a word meaning big and a lot of people like bigger yorkies too. You don't see people advertising that word for more money. It's all a money making scam.

| I would say in Most Aisa contries, people do not breed for standard size yorkies. They breed tiny yorkies to have tiny babies. Many people in USA import Dogs from Asia and make big money/resell them in usa.

| The dog looks beautiful. If the price is very high and they have other yorkies priced super cheap because they are bigger then yes it's a way to get MORE $$money$$ I personally dont have a problem with people saying the word teacup just to let you know that its smaller than the standard 4-7 lbs. The problem I have is seeing Sale Ads advertising Teacups for $2,000 & up and charging $750 for another one of the same litter that is bigger... I have a 3 lb 4 yr old that is considered a "teacup" because of his small size.It doesnt make him any cuter or more desirable because of that name in my eyes.. If your friend has the money to pay whatever price they are asking ...I could only give my advice and tell her to make sure the dog has a full health checkup first. Genie |

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Smaller yorkies really do happen in a litter of a responsible and reputable breeders. These little ones also deserve to be placed in a loving home. However, your friend must also ensure that he or she can provide such fragile yorkie extra care and extra money (for vet emergencies) and possess extra strength (for any heartaches in the future). NEVER EVER buy from a breeder who intentionally breeds for such size, though. It is obvious that such breeder only breeds for money and not to improve the breed.
