Denise, she is just beautiful!! Congrats. Ok, I've been off YT for more than a week - did I miss something about Maddie, or is she just staying with the neighbors for good now? I know you said what a comfort she has been to them.

So glad Lexi has improved so much!! Hope her dance recital was awesome --- we missed you in KC!!

Ok, so I found her and it just seems right. I've prayed about it and this is the new addition to our family. Lexi's been around doggies all weekend and nothing. Lexi will still have to continue her shots for a long time. So all is good. We are very excited. I got her from the Harris Family in Wisconsin. She is a YT member.

I'll be driving to get her on July 3rd I think. Whitney is meeting me 1/2 way.

I'm very excited too cause Jodie and Cyndi are coming to see me in the next hour. They are on their way back from the KC meet-up. I'm so excited to me them and their babies.

Awww! Congratulations!!! She is precious - in fact, I just saw her listed and was telling my mom how much I loved her face!! I am very happy for you!!

lexi isnt breaking out anymore since having her shots, and i can't bare to take Maddie away from bob and jane, even if my heart is breaking over it all. They are elderly and said Maddie has made them live again. Jane is really fragile and I don't think she could handle it if I took Maddie back, and Maddie seems really settled now and has been thru so much so I think it would be confusing for her too. Maddie has really touched their lives as she has mine. It was a really hard decision to come to but if something happened to their health cause I took Maddie back, I could never forgive myself. Jane is out of bed now and daily getting up getting herself dressed and Maddie and out for yogurt every night w/ bob and Maddie. Before she was in the bed depressed lot.

actually lexi wouldnt even get on stage after all. all that money for the dance outfit, etc and she got stage fright. lol she is something else. it just depends on her mood. she is a very head strong/ independant child. lol

Oh!! I haven't been there (my dd always thought she was a starlet- lol) - but I had a friend who went thru this with recital for 3 years and then her daughter finally blossomed. By high school she was the one choreographing and serving in leadership for the swing choir. They do come around.

I really think a book is in order about Maddie's life - actually I think it would be a great children's book or a happy tale for adults about how much happiness one bundle of fur can bring to so many people. Let me know if you need help writing it
