It takes a lot of love for your daughter, little Maddie and your neighbors to do what you have done. What an awesome skinkid and furkid parent and friend you are. It warmed my heart to hear how much joy Maddie has brought to your neighbors. And now your new baby and Maddie can play together and be the best of friends. Like I said I did not say it to be mean, I wrote it because I didn't understand, I used the words poor Maddie because that's how I feel about her, Even though she may be Happy you know your self that she has been through a lot. I have read I think every post on her from the beginning until now, and I have cried and prayed right along with you and everyone else that has followed it. I did not mean any thing hurtful from what I posted above. and I hope that maddie is in a wonderful home and that she is happy. Would I have took my dog back Prob yes. maybe that's mean but yes I would of. I would of maybe got the neighbors and older rescue but yes I would of gotten my baby back before bringing in another Yorkie when the allergies was from having a dog in the first place. we don't have to agree we both are adults and have our own opions and ways we do things, I mean no hurt in my words and I hope you know that.

How could you compare Macy to Bella. I can because they are both Yorkie pups. Macy was returned because she could not take the place of poor Maddie, well hun this one wont take her place either, she will help her heal from it all but she wont and is not Maddie.The only reason for giving Maddie away was because of her daughters allergies. its only been 2 months sense the shots. noone knows if those allergies will come back again. I have a DH and 2 children with asthma and allergies they do and can come back over and over again.
And I think you are getting upset over this because of your own reasons.
No not all dogs have a problem with being rehomed, but Hun some do. some grive their selfs sick. some dont. all I was saying is Maddie had already been through alot and had to adjust a few times with new people. Thats why I said poor Maddie. she may love these people and may be very happy, but that dont change what shes allready been through and it dosent change why I said I was confussed. I have a right to my own opinions.and I do wish the best for Denise and her Family.

My sisters off that day and driving with me. So we are making a girls road trip. Lexi might be going too. Lauryns in Maine then to Hershey PN with her grandpa.for 2 weeks. Dan might take a vacation day and if he does, I'll leave Lexi with him. Would just make it faster. She'll have to pee on the way there a million times. I know we'll have to stop for puppy pee breaks on the way back, but still faster. If she gets tooo upset, I'll bring her along. She's sooo excited. It was funny, I told her we were going to call her Bella. and I said she'll be our little Bella Boo. Well at Target we were looking at doggy stuff and she told the lady in the isle. I'm getting a yorkie puppy and her name is Bella. She'll be our little Bella POOP hahahah I almost busted out laughing soooo hard. I had to explain to the lady who was looking at me like WHAT!!!! by the way...Lexi is still 3 soon to be 4 in July 25.

Denise, your new baby is precious beyond words. I congratulate you on your new addition. I know that you have been through a lot -- with all the crazyness that happened with Maddie. I think you have made the kindest and most compassionate decision by allowing the elderly couple to keep Maddie in their home. I know it might not have been the easiest decision for YOU, but I think you are to be commended to put their feelings and needs above yours. Especially since Maddie is happy with them and is being treated like a little princess!
