i am feeling the same as you at the moment and ive never had so much pain.the loss is so terrable.but i think weve got to think of the happy times we gave them and keep thinking of those.i feel the same that the vet let us down and i have lost trust in them now but we must think that they are human and they make misstakes sometimes but they do there best the same as human docs do.i think its only time that will take away the hurt but i dont think the loss will ever go away.but just gos in the back ground in life.god bless you at this time

well dear, there is nothing you can do to bring him back. I lost my tina to diebetis, but my kids knew i wanted another yorkie, i waited. they found me a dog that looked just like tina, and she had a sweet disposition. it sounds like you were a wonderfull mom. There are other yorkies in need of a home. Go find one. they need a mom too.

I just lost my precious Smokey one week ago today, and I am still devastated. I too feel the guilt of knowing his death could have been prevented by me. It is a very difficult process. I have only been on this site for two day's and I have found comfort here knowing that others understand what I am going through. I thought that I was all alone and noone understood my pain. Our fur babies are exactly that , our babies. As I have told so many people before me, and now I have to believe when I say, that time will heal our wounds. You cry, you do whatever you need to do to mourn. Everyone is different, you will have good days and bad days, but I have found that the more you write about your baby, the comforting it is to your soul. Hold on to the love that you had for your baby, as will I. And when it is time, we will move on, but only in our time.

Read the ther blogs, I have found comfort in reading other peoples RIP, it helps to write to people who understand your pain.
