I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | ![]() Oh gosh I hope this thread doesn't get out of hand ![]() First of all, to answer your question, no I have not ever had to surrender a Yorkie, or any dog for that matter. And as everyone has already said numerous times, please do not take him to the pound. There ARE rescue shelters out there that will take him - Yorkie rescues for that matter. And as a few people have already mentioned here, it honestly ISN'T true that once they've bitten they can't be turned around. There are skilled professionals out there that will work with these dogs and get them properly trained. I would not want the dogs life to end just because he's bitten before. Please give him a chance and try with all your might to get that poor baby into a rescue shelter ![]() I sure do hope we get an update on this situation soon.

Donating YT 11K Club Member | ![]() Please put the dog here so someone can give him a good home. There are many caring ppl here and he can be given a great home. Do not take him to the pound or put him to sleep! IMO no dog should be put to sleep cause they bite unless they are a huge dog that can kill with it's bite but even then i don't have the heart to ever put down a dog for that reason, i would make it work somehow. I hope you do the right decision.

I dont care about the statement i made it was the truth IMO!!! A lot of dogs dont like children. Children are young and dont know any better either so they grab dogs and hurt them sometimes not intentionally but the dog doesnt know that and after too many times of that why would you like children? If i was a dog and a child or even a person hurt me too many times i wouldnt like them either. Im sorry but that is that truth. ITs not the dogs fault as well as its not the childs fault. Your right i dont know your situation but i would always look at rehoming before i even would PTS a dog. Elderly people would be great for a dog with that doesnt like children! I ALSO in my statement didnt say it directly to you i said "All people want to do is put dogs down when they do something wrong when they simply don't know better." If you feel that should be directed to you personally then take it like that! All of us here on YT look at our dogs as our children and im sorry if you dont like that but we wouldnt kill a child because it did wrong. i know there is some difference but with time and patience a dog as well a person can be helped. A yorkie is not a huge dog and she said this dog was her youngest and jealousy contributed to the biting. Well a home with no other dogs could be a good place for this pup. | ![]() im glad to here this and like we said someone on YT will surely take him if no one will so there are tons of alternatives to turn to. A good person would be maybe someone that has had a yorkie and maybe theirs passed away. someone with no other dogs. |

| ![]() I have been reading this thread, and wondering why the OP has not answered any questions? Or did I miss it? If you answer the questions about your dog, someone on YT may take him in and work with him. I have still not read how old this dog is? |

Hmm it seems weird that no name, no age, no more details of her dog are posted to so many who wanted to help.
