My heart aches for you.

All that matters now is the great love you showed your darlings while they were alive. Love never dies. They carry that with them. It is part of them.

Try to concentrate on all the funny moments you had with them. Never bury memories. Memories are the bridge from one heart to another.

Don't be surprised if you see shadows zipping past you, or feel a warm rub around your ankles, or feel a thump on your bed. It's them saying hello, saying they are still there, saying they love you. You will dream good dreams about them, very soon.

The guilt is part of grieving. The what could I have done, the what should I have done. This feeling is normal, but please don't dwell on it. In time, it will lessen, in time you will accept that this happened for a reason, a reason we can't understand just yet. In time, all you will remember is the sacred love between you and your babies. Give yourself the time.

Pray for strength and comfort. God will give it to you. At an unexpected time, God may call upon you to love yet another baby. And you will, and you'll do just fine. In fact, you'll do better. From each experience, good or bad, we learn. We learn to love, again and again.

From the ashes of your grief and loss, something wonderful will be built. Never lose hope. Never give in to the darkness. You were meant for something beautiful to happen to you after all your suffering. Life is a circle. The good will happen to you. Be strong, be ready.

i can't imagine what you are going through... but trust that your luck will change, i have tears in my eyes from reading the thread, our prayers are with you... Zoey knows that you loved her lots, and like someone said before me, she carries that with her, and as for your ex...he isn't worth your time hun, if he didn't stand by you at a time like this, you are way better off without him... i hope all the encouraging words and heartfelt sentiments from all YTers have helped you out... lots of hugs to you!!

You all are so amazing, I am starting to heal more and thinking of the good. I still get flash backs of seeing what happened and it stops my heart litterally, then i just try to clear my hear really fast and focus on something else.
Our house feels so empty. We just moved into a larger new house and it feels so empty and cold. My mom has told me when I'm ready I can get a chocolate lab puppy like i've always wanted. So I've just been randomly looking when I have time. I hope I can find a sweet puppy that I can adopt and give all my love to and make Zoey proud that I can still love another puppy after all this. I've been sooooo busy this weekend I'm kinda glad cause it hasn't giving me much time to dwell. But my body is very tired and I find myself dozing off if I sit for more than 5 mins.
Once again I would love to thank all of you for you warm wishes, loving prayers and words of advice, i printed off this entire thread so i can keep reading all the wishes. Its amazing to know there's still amazing people out there and I wish I could meet each one of you and give you a big hug to thankyou for all you have done for me.

Oh I am just so glad to see your post! I keep checking here, hoping for an update from you. I am so glad to see that you're doing better, Hon and that you feel the healing start. Don't worry about the tiredness - that is quite natural after the terrible stress you have been through. Slowly, your full energy will return, you will see. As for the prospect of a new Pup, whatever breed you decide on - the joy of watching all the little, demented puppy antics, will further serve to heal your grieving heart. It's good that you printed out all the well wishes the members here sent you.... nothing like a good old YorkieTalk "pep talk" to lift your spirits.

Please keep us updated. So many people here have been worried about you.

I just saw this and I am so sorry for your loss of your precious baby. Tragic accidents like this could happen to any of us and I have had some myself that I don't really want to mention. Please don't blame yourself. I am praying for you.

Also my boyfriend walked out on me a couple of months after my mother passed away in a tragic accident and at the time he left I was in a horrible mental state trying to deal with the loss. But I found a better man and I married him. Hang in there, things will get better for you.
