Had this thread started out...for fun you attended a show asking a judge for their critique and you received great feed back is one thing...BUT a post saying you took 2nd in a competition and 10 pages of getting to the truth, well enough said!!

Agreed. I can't help but think that the OP had ulterior motives...especially with all the chocolate talk lately.

So you make a statement about your goals and what you are trying to achieve, but you can't elaborate on it or explain it because you 'have no idea really.' Well THAT clears things up...lol. I've had days like that too, don't feel bad. I think you may stand a chance at being taken more seriously if you try to collect and organize your thoughts first before going on a mission to try and change things and prove everyone wrong.

I don't think that anyone is upset with you for trying something new and having fun--I just think that some people picked up on things not sounding just right with how you presented them, took it upon themselves to question it with a UKC official, and posted their findings so that EVERYONE could be informed. What was the harm in that? The more correct info we have, the more we all learn, right?

Shannette dont you think you and your breeder Diva could have been a bit more forthright in your thread? seems to me this commotion is just a way to get attention to you and the breeder placing theses pups for $3500 and advertising the "rare breed"

I agree. There have been like 3 or 4 heated threads regarding chocolates and off colors within just the past couple days...why keep starting them back up again...when you know it's just going to end up a big mess again.

well i kinda came in here in the middle i havent even got to read the beginning of what anyone wrote but my friend kelly. AS far as winning second i believed i did i got a ribbon saying so . i have never shown a dog or even been to a dog show. I just went and competed i havent misled anyone i was there and did get second place ribbon and i was only female yorki there not only yorkie
i had another male puppy class and mojo was in competion with carmella as well he took best male cause he was only adult male does that mean his winning is not real two?

IMO, she started this thread knowing the assumption would be made by others that this dog beat out all other standards that showed. I have to wonder now why she has left the fight for Shannette alone. *shaking my head*

thats what i have been trying to say i wasnt there to beat out any standards or put any show quality dogs out of place i was just there for the experience and education myself with my dog. UKC is one who allowed her in the show to start with. this is not my fault however i do believe in my dogs and stand by my chocolates as well as my blk and golds whick i have 2 of by the way i love them all. i have no idea why i have waisted my evening trying to explain to those of you who keep questioning me or my dog i dont understand why we dont have a right to show up get judged if your dog is better it will win if not then next in line is up for the task thats the way i see it. there were no other females and i graciously eccepted second. i felt honored just to have had her in a ring. im leaving this forum and this disussion is over hope for those of you upity standard people you get what you want out of your dogs cause that all i want for mine the best. goodnight

I think we all fell into the trap and accomplished what the original poster had in mind.....free advertisement for those high $$$$$ Chocolates

Well Shannette, it's good that you came to clarify what yorkiediva started. Sounds like you enjoyed yourself in the ring and congratulations to you and your girl!

I still don't like the fact that she left you here to do this all on your own. Her last post was at 5:47 (central time) yet her last activity time on the forum was 7:54 (central time). It's obvious to me that she was watching this thread but not backing you up. I don't like people that start something then sit back and watch as things get heated up.

i was told to get online that people had questions and was looking forward to talking to yorkie people i havent been on here in months till tonight as far as what someone else started this thing with i wasnt there dont know and came in on a page where i was insulted and it went from there with very few trying to be understanding. i was simply taking up for myself. I met the lady i got my girl from one time dont know her how she thinks or what she does or doesnt do. i just came in cause kelly said people wanted to talk to me so i signed on and have been taking alot of grief for trying something new that didnt hurt anyone and had no idea why
