|  Chocolate Show Dog!!!!!! I just got an email and don't have all the particulars as of yet, but one of my female chocolate Yorkies puppies from a previous litter took 2nd in best bitch in a UKC show. Here is an earlier picture. Will give more details as I learn them. She is the one on the left in this picture. |

| Carmella  This weekend shannette showed the female she bought from Yorkiediva in the UKC show in Hickory, NC. As far as we know it is the first one ever shown in both UKC and AKC. Shannette and carmella did GREAT!! She is a beautiful pup. She brought home 2nd place, but she deserved first. The judge loved her, but said she couldnt give her first since there is no standard set for chocolates yet. The judge could have disqualified her if she would have wanted to because there is no standard, but she didnt. Carmella was perfect in the ring, and the judge recgonized that. Shannette is planning on working now to get a standard set for the chocolates and will be showing with me and mojo again at the next UKC show in NC.

I personally feel there should be a standard for chocolates, goldens, and tri-colors as well...just like there are for Poodles, labs, etc. I dont dee it any different! Thanks so much for sharing and good luck in future shows! She is STUNNING.
