she did tell me there would be some people but i had no idea how rude and judgmental you could be as far as your standard. i was even warned about people like you at the shows too so im not worried about you at all
and my friend who has been there for me and knows what all i have done for this breed and the standard is supporting me you who know nothing about me well i wish you well

I am game to try to explain something about the show world. Yes your adult males win doesn't mean anything either with not competing wiht anything. But it goes further than that. Lets say your male was in the show and another male was in the show. Lets say your male won. That means out of the two the judge felt yours was better. Okay here's the real world. It is very possible neither one was a very good representative of the breed and really neither should have gotten anything. I have seen judges put up the best of the two neither should have been entered. I have seen a judge withhold the ribbon on a whole class of a breed because in the judges opinion none should have been in the ring.
Okay so you wnet to a show, showed your dog with a totally wrong colour. It is unfortunate you didn't talk to some show breeder first and find out if it should be in the ring in the first place. If anyone wants to breed, it is in the best interest of the breed to learn all you can about the breed by attending shows and talking to the breeders who know their breed everywhich way before you even start. Breeding wrong colours is not pioneering something different, it is plain old breeding wrong colours bringing the breed down.
When I have sold a pet quality puppy, even if it is correct colour, I do not ever want any of my buyers to even think of putting it in a show ring.
As far as murdering chocolates, no one is killing anything. That gene is there and when the combination hits that might produce a chocolate pup, a reputable breeder will sell it much cheaper than a regular pet puppy will sell for and make darn sure they never repeat that breeding. They don't sell them as 'rare' for big bucks.

I believe others were more heated at what they thought then she was so why would you say she was rude and about being warned about people like her? She seemed to be pretty 'laid back' with her opinions. Either way... I'm glad you had fun!

Shannette does not try to pass them off as rare, she knows they are not rare, she has very reasonable prices..acctually cheaper than most on here. and the money she gets from selling the pups goes right back into her dogs..not her...and just to show you how kind hearted she is...she had a female that was spayed and only 4 years old..she knew my mother wanted one and she GAVE the female yorkie to my mother..yes, it was a standard yorkie..but how many of yall on here can say the same?? She was more concerned for the happiness of precious then for loading her own pockets.

im not selling anything for big bucks my dogs are always reasonably priced and i very rarely breed maybe one litter a year this is an off year mostly your standard is what i have bread i do know the standard very well after 14 years of breeding i would hope so. i just believe that the other colors deserve a right to ribbons and trophys and good life just like the precious standard its not there fault they are different breeders created them
many breeds have been made standard by misbreeding or genetic changes this is fact of life get over yourself with your one of a kind standard forever it will change thats life
