If by lied you mean because he told you he would weigh, then I whole heartedly agree with you! But if you mean because you wanted a tiny pupy and you are gonna get a bigger one then I have to ask, how do you truly know that you were lied to? Your baby is still really young so he may be only 3 to 4 lbs. As my vet's changing estimate proves, no one can say for sure how big or how small a puppy will be, only time can tell.

Plus I worry about him having to get used to a new home and new people and being sad that we're not around since he knows us now.
He's doing really great with pee pad training too. I just wish he would stop pulling and chewing on my hair, LOL.

I am so glad to hear you say that!! I was reading this thread and my heart was just racing not knowing what you decided to do!! and I think its wonderful he is sooooooooo cute and he is probably so happy now to be in a clean safe enviornment although i am sure the first couple of days he missed his cell mates..

I would definelty report his guy to the humane society etc. Those animals are living in unhealthy conditions that can breed germs and sickness!!! You can not only save them but you definetly saved this little guy!! Give him a big hug from me and Nathan!!!!

I just wanted to jump in and say that both of my babies turned out bigger than what the breeder told me they would be. I was told Otis would be around 6, he's 9. and Oliver was supposed to be 7 or 8, and he's 12. It didn't matter to me one bit. They are my companions. I sure wish you luck with this baby. I hope you are comfortable with whatever decision you make, I'm sure you'll receive endless unconditional love from him whether he weighs 6 or 8 pounds. Enjoy your new baby.

Well, I guess I don't really care how much he weighs anymore. I'm not going to give him up.

But what happened was, when I first called him, he told me that he had a puppy who would be 2.5 lbs full grown and I agreed to go see him. Then when I got there and I asked him to confirm how much he would weigh, his response changed to 3 lbs. My boyfriend knew that it was important to me, so he asked the guy to write on the contract that he would only be 3 lbs and guarantee it and this time he said he would guarantee that he wouldn't be more than 4 lbs. He wrote it down and signed it. So he kept changing his word and according to everyone here, how could he guarantee the weight anyway?
I'm pretty sure he was lying. But he will get what he deserves hopefully.

he is a cutie and deserves to have a good, happy life and he will. The first couple of days we got him, he was crying all the time and walking around searching for his siblings. It was heartbreaking. He was so sad and couldn't be left alone for a moment. He is so happy-go-lucky now and very outgoing. We can tell that he feels safe with us and he is fine on his own at night, in his play pen and in his crate. He has actually started going into his crate out of his own free will recently, which makes us happy.

I'm going to report the puppy mill tomorrow. The more I think about it, the worse I feel for all the dogs he has there.

Hey Punkie, Welcome to YT! Glad to hear you are keeping that little cutie. Thought I'd throw this in, most newborn "skin kids" are 6 or 7lbs and feel like you are carrying nothing. Your baby may not even get that big so hopefully you won't have trouble carrying him around with you. Just something to think about.

I was just on the phone with my friend and told her that I was keeping him and didn't care anymore if he got to be 7 or 8 lbs. She told me that her cat Gracie is 12 lbs and she is not a big cat. 7 or 8 lbs seemed so big to me before but now it seems so small.
