You spend all your money on them....
You buy them just one more toy......
You can't wait to go home at lunch time from work to see them......
You put the central heating on for them 'cos it's a bit chilly outside....
You get excited about "his first Christmas" even though it's summer....
You howl with excitement when he learns to jump on the armchair for the first time......
He eats before you do....and he gets all the best bits......
You bore the pants off everyone by talking about him constantly and repeatedly asking if they have seen your new photos/videos etc.

You can't imagine your life without them. You know it is one of the most rewarding and beautiful things that has ever happened to you.

You know you love your yorkie when you get up every time he moves at night because you know he has an upset tummy.

You know hubby loves him when he turns on the light for you when you get up with him. Poor baby!

Co-worker is out today, or I would have stayed home with him.
Oh, you also know you love your yorkie when you buy ice cream to put their yucky liquid meds in, and put their name on the carton so no one else will eat it. God, I love my babies!!

AMEN!!! And is the reason the expen went up around the front door. Azrael took off after the UPS truck chasing it down the street.

Also when you think there is nothing more you need to buy them for quite awhile, your friend shows up at play-date with a silk lotion for doggie hair that you try and simply MUST have for your own baby/s. Not only do you order it, you order the matching shampoo and conditioner!!

- you pay for private training sessions so that they can learn to roll over for liver treats.

-you let them lick you all over your face, including in your mouth after eating said liver treats that smell horribly. you learn to grin and bear it.

-you pass out your number to complete strangers with yorkies so as to set up "Play-Dates."

these are soooo great!!! I can picture everyone sitting at their computer baby on lap or at feet or both, laughing because we have all done most of these things, I am glad that I am not the only one who carries a doggy diper bag

when you take a meat tenderizer to a greenie because your baby is just too delicate to start chewing it when it's new.

when you've come home after an evening out no matter what time it is and stay up with your babies for a few hours because you feel bad that you left them all night.

when you barehandedly pull poo from their bottom because it is stuck.

When you either go out and leave them alone during the day and or at night, never both in the same day.

When it's 96 degrees and you take the only ice pack in the house, freeze it, and put it under the covering of your dog's bed. When said dog then chews through the bottom of the bed to see what in there and you calmly check it for holes, and put it back in the freezer because maybe he'll need it later.

When you order a cooling mat and a cooling collar for him, while you wear a wet towel around your neck.

When you take them to doggie day care so that you can relax on the beach without feeling totally guilty.

When you concern yourself with age appropriate toys for the dog that prefers paper over anything else in the word.

.... when it's pouring down rain and you put your Yorkie under your shirt so HE doesn't get wet.

When you get home and they are demanding all of your attention and you give it to them...all of it...even if it cuts into your ME time! You wanted to take time for yourself but if that baby needs it, you give it to THEM! And you feel good about doing it! You check their food and water situation before you open the fridge for yourself, even if you are starving! You let them outside to pee even tho you are about to pop and your eyeballs are floating. You give them a treat first even tho that jar of chocolate chip cookies is calling your name. That's when you know you love your Yorkie!
