Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I think most Yorkies will let you know when they are tired I know all four of mine do. The smaller the dog the sooner they get wore out. My 13 lb Yorkie can go forever!!!

BANNED FOR NOT MAILING PRODUCTS PURCHASED | I think it depends on how offten you walk them, we walk everyday permitting the weather and mine will walk for a hour, I also take water for them and if we can, we sit and rest a bit. |

| mine's four months old and she has a ton of energy, especially at night. the normal games we play don't seem to wear her out. i think a long-ish walk might, so i guess i'll just see how far we can go. i can always carry her home if she crashes. |

| I'm sure you will know the signs when they get tired, but in the meantime, make sure they don't walk very long on hot asphalt. Also if they are not used to walking on asphalt every day, the pads can lift off or crack, so keep a close eye on the feet. |

That's exactly why I started walking Lucy in the evening after the sun sets. She only walked a couple of blocks yesterday (our first time) but she was worn out when we got home and all that crazy energy was gone

| I am so glad you said that! My little girl doesn't like to walk on the grass; It hasn't been that hot out, yet; but I am sure it will be. I think I'll get her some little shoes! YAY Shopping!

| We walk all 6 of ours at one time about 2 miles and I carry a pouch. to take turns carrying them. We carry water for them and rest about 15 min at the end of one mile. I am always checking thier heart for pitter patter also check the bottom of their feet pads too for anything abnormal. But for the most part they let me know by stoping alot and looking up at me or my husband.
