We walk all 6 of ours at one time about 2 miles and I carry a pouch. to take turns carrying them. We carry water for them and rest about 15 min at the end of one mile. I am always checking thier heart for pitter patter also check the bottom of their feet pads too for anything abnormal.
But for the most part they let me know by stoping alot and looking up at me or my husband.
