Oh god!!!!!!!!! If I were her I would have a friend who knows Zeke go door to door and see if he is spotted.
Where was he spotted? The neighborhood?
I hope these people who stole him, get their day in court!
Too bad the cops are no help..
We will all ban together to help poor Zeke get to his mom.

This is a felony...They are in possession of stolen merchandise. We have to be careful, we don't want to tip them off...but they need to be watched very carefully...OK we can do this...we can pull this off...It is going to be fantastic!!!

I would stake out that house...the dog has to go outside at some point right? Could the police get a search warrant? I can not believe he would keep your dog knowing it was yours and that you are missing him? What an idiotic ass! I am so mad right now thinking he could have Zeke and have had him the whole time knowing he was yours.:mad:

Maureen - do you mean you went to that house THIS afternoon when that little boy identified him as "Tahoe".? The way the Dad was acting is just SO suspicious. Children have the uncanny ability to recognize EXACTLY which dog is which from pictures. My 5 year old nephew can pick out my dogs by name just by looking at their pictures. If he says Tahoe is Zeke......... I think you need to call the police ASAP.


Edit:Can't you go back there with your dog whistle????

Unbelievable...We know children tell the truth.
Please have a guy friend stake out that house for any activity.
The minute you see Zeke, call for him and he will run right for his mommy or who ever is there.
Take him and get out of there fast.
If the cops messed things up, they are of no use.
Just incase, bring Zekes papers so they can't say your stealing their dog.
This sounds like a darn movie.
I believe this one will have a happy ending..

AAHHHH!!! Ive been following this from the begininning but have been sending silent prayers. OMG!!! I am freaking out. I wanna drive there bust down that guys door and smack him around... grr ahhh now my butt is glued to the chair and i cant bring myself to leave the computer. I really hope this is it. I hope Zeke is back in Maureens arms very soon!!!!

Maureen...I want to hug you!!! Children also have a way of being too honest!!! They tell it like it is...they have Zeke and the father is not telling you the truth, I just know it...CALL THE SAME OFFICER THAT CAME TO YOUR HOUSE BEFORE, this is a true lead, and we don't want them to "hide" him...do it now...do it for Zeke!!!

So what is the game plan. I know that the police did not do a good job last time but is there an animal control officer in your town. If so then why can't you ask him to go door to door to check to see if dogs are licensed and he can stop by that house and check out the dog. Guaranteed they have not licensed the dog if it is Zeke and he can get more information on the dog than you would going to the door. Just a thought.

Yes it was today at about 3pm... I am going to wait until it gets dark and drive over there again with the dog whistle... But I think he might me at the grandmothers house.

Great idea! They can act like they are doing a door to door check and ask to see the dog.....or even say they had a complaint about a malnourished dog in the area and are checking out all the dogs in the neighborhood...anything to see if it is yours..and even scan him

Do you think the grandmother could have anything to do with the cleaning women? Or do you think...that they really did put him down and this guy picked him up? Or maybe he or Grandma bought him at Walmart??? Do they at all seem Hispanic?

Imagine a dozen or so determined Yorkie mommys trying to get Zeke home...
I think that guy would think twice before stealing anyone elses dog.
Can't he just go buy one like the rest of us did.
I am just squirming thinking how poor Zeke feels right now.
I to am glued to my computer until Zeke is home.
I am praying sooooo hard.

I am hoping that if I stake this house out that I will see him or they will lead me to the "grandmothers"... As soon as I see him I will call the police out to the house and have them scan him to prove he is mine.

I have to make sure to keep my distance and not approach them because I dont want them to run and disappear like the other lady did.

I am so nervous.

I know you all keep saying the police messed up last time and now something about the lady running....it's been hard for me to keep up with every post of this thread because I'm gone all day and check it in the evenings. Can someone tell me what went wrong last time?

If we ever needed a stake out we do now. The grandmother comes to her grandson's house to see her son and grandson, and has the dog with her. The problem is we do not know where she lives, if some one like a PI could stake out the house of her grandson, then eventually the lady would come by with ZEKE, we have to get this baby back before Lauren leaves so she can go on vacation with peace of mind. But do we get the police involved again. They could screw up everything, as the son could say anything to protect his mother and the new found dog that she will not let go of.

Maureen is in hope that she will give up the dog for the reward. She is waiting for a call.

Maureen,

Do you have an animal control officer in your town? If so then try to set something up with him. He can say he is checking licenses and also complaints ref dogs barking or some other thing. Just so he gets to see the dog.

The kid gave it away the second he said, "dad thats Tahoe"...Hmmmmmm
It would have been tough for me to walk away right there and then....
If Zeke was in his house, I wonder if they locked him up in one of the bedrooms so he couldn't run out to mommy after hearing her voice.
This jerk needs a good ass whooping.
