Judy do you have the summary that you did? Who was the attorneys on here that offered to help before??? |
I do have the summary. The lawyer was a woman about a week ago (?) Does anyone have any idea who she was? I'll do a search for attorney. |
I can't find the attorney's post. If anybody come across it, or remembers her name, please post. Thanks, Judy By the way, some of us have been on here almost exclusively and aren't up on other YT news. Sadly, little Lilly, Timmy's dog with the heart murmur, passed today. It's so heartbreaking. Sorry to post this on Zeke's now upbeat thread. |
judy, do you remember about the time the attorney psoted? |
Okay...sorry for my blow-up!!! I took a long shower and thought about this...I feel better now. But really is it too much to ask for the police to enforce the law? I do want to stay focused and positive...and I apologize for my out burst...forgive me, please. But I am afraid for Maureen, she's likely to take this into her own hands if she can't get any cooperation from the proper authorities...I'm putting myself in her shoes, and that is a scarey thought!!! I can only imagine what she is going through...and what I would do if I were her. I pray for her, for Zeke. But I just know this is it...the break we've been wanting and waiting for...and the officers of the law tells her she has to wait until Friday...what would each of you do? You'd go get your dog and worry about the consequences later!!! Maureen are you home yet??? |
anything new tonight?? is she going to try to go back tonight? Good Luck. Lord please bring Zeke home. anxiously awaiting on the good news |

If you can't have a blow-up here, where can you have one? I still love you! Thanks xNatalie for the attorney's name. |

I think not to look suspicious, it is best if they just see flyers being passed out in the area of the Dad and son. The Grandmothers area is full of posters, and still is. I hate that we have to wait till Friday, but on the good side, that could give the people time to turn Zeke in for the reward. We can only pray, that they are not on to us. |
Hello everyone... I have had no news today and the officer has not called me back yet. The man that gave me the tip is going to try to find out more info for me. |

Oh thank God...Maureen is on line, my imagination has been working over time. Also I checked the attorney, galatea is not on line...but how about hiring a local attorney in Modesto? I'm in for a gift!!! |

Thank you for your kind offer. Hopefully the police officer will have an officer with him that Speaks Spanish. But the praying is the best thing we can all do right now. |

I agree, I am getting a little unnerved also and have had my blow up and just had to get away for a while and simmer on down. We all want the same thing so bad, and we are so close, and I feel helpless that I can't be there, and also go to the police in person. I want you all to know if I have offended anyone, please forgive me, I am just so afraid we will lose Zeke again, and it is killing me that I can not do more than pray at this time, and comfort Maureen, who is also trying so hard to get the police to help sooner than later. It is what it is, Maureen has gone down in person to no avail. Friday will come before we know it, in the meantime, I remain very hopeful, as we are soooooooo close, I don't think we can fail this time. So everyone stay strong, Zeke is not far from home, and I know the Lord is protecting him and leading us to him. |

The intersection mentioned was Dale & Snyder. |
Hi, I just can't sleep, and I thought I would come to this post, it seems to be my second home. My understanding is the Father of the Son did give the information of the interection where his mother lived, the boys grandmother, than said that is where they spotted the dog. He did not say in which house, just the interection, I assume that would include two rows of houses, one row on one side of the interection and another row of houses on the other side of the interection. I don't think Maureen was clear on the exact house, just the interection was mentioned. It would be nice if it was the house on the corner, I am unsure, if that is the house, I would think Maureen would have walked up to the door and handed her a flyer, and would have listened for Zeke to bark. When she was out last night she was going up and down the streets trying to see if a small yorkie could be out to potty. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I was sure she did not have the house address just the streets and interection involved. I would think their would be two houses one on each street, coming to the corner. Am I making any since? Maybe I am the one confused. Maureen, if you are on line could you clear this up. Thanks all for bringing this to attention.   |
I also wanted to add, that is why we are bringing the police to the house where the Dad and Son live, so we could find out where the grandmother lives. As far as I know it is only a vague area, of the two interections coming to a corner, that they said first, that is where the childs grandmother lived, then changed his mind and said that is where they first spotted the dog. So where does that put us???? No where without the Dad giving the address, and that is why we were trying to find out the Dad's last name, in hopes that it is his mother, and she would have the same name and we could look up her address. This is just a what if. What if the son does not give the police the address of the grandmother, how do we find her with out going to a door to door search for a small yorkie, when he is identified, and it is Zeke that is the end of it. We have our little guy back where he belongs. Second what if. The police refuse to do a door to door search for a small yorkie, or if they can do a search for a small yorkie, is that enough to demand a search of someones house because the streets coming to an intetection were mentioned? I really think we have a very good reason to search the Dad and his sons house, but without their corperation, can we get the grandmothers house address not just the interection. Please know it is late, and I am confused on this, and we need Maureen to get on line to get us all straight on this fact. Now I am so tired I have to go to bed, I can hardly type, think or keep my eyes open. I will be praying for Zeke to be in Maureen's arms soon. Goodnite all, Jeannie Also I feel bad that I have not even seen any other posts, until Maureen brought the truck driver story to our attention, it was a great story of a yorkie being found after a year. I have no idea what is going on on all the other threads, when Zeke is home where he is safe and sound will be the greatest day of my summer. Then I will have to catch up with some of the other posts. They probably have a lot of people needing love and support, but right now I can't get off this post till Zeke is found, I am totally commited and would be useless somewhere else. My heart, soul, and head hold only thoughts of how to get Zeke back. I don't think I will feel human till that happens. |
Without the consent of the owner or renter of the house, the police cannot search or enter the house without a search warrant signed by a judge. They can even hear barking - it doesn't matter - they can't enter. If the dog is in plain site in the house and they are at the door, and Zeke is ID'd, then they can enter and seize the dog without the warrant. If the dog goes into the yard - front or back and is in plain site and is ID'd then they can seize the dog from either yard, but not the house. If the occupants are tipped off that someone is looking for the dog they can move that dog before the police get a search warrrant. The cops may not have legally sufficient reasonable suspicion to believe the dog is there until after they have gone to the house, but then they have to get the search warrant if they don't get consent to search. In that time, the dog can be moved. |
