Im not a big roadtripper so 2-3 hours is my max for driving.(I used to complain driving to ohio and that is only 3 hours away!!) Because of that, Izzy and I can fly, so Im open.

I agree with having it a central place since a lot of people seem to drive. Keep me posted...looking forward to it.

Tornado issue addressed ...... at this point I would have to say "Yes" I will be going (this said by someone who just broke her arm simply by walking...so I am really "hoping").

Now I will be or would like to drive from Jersey. Ideally I would like to have have a couple of buddies from this area drive out also so...such as we could follow each other in our own cars. Anyone from the New Jersey/ New York or what ever area game, lol.

Sounds like an ideal opportunity to see many different states (and of course all the Yorkie Talkers-first and foremost) by attending the meet up.

.. I like road trips.. so we're going to drive the 8 or more hours.. we'd love to meet you.. and everyone else on here

Oh yeah, I will definitely be flying. I would love to meet you all too.....I missed the Yorkie Fair because I was in Miami that weekend.

I know!! When I booked my tickets for this trip I didnt realize it was the same weekend!!! Oh well, next year I will make sure Im there.

I had a great time though.

It was a girls trip and I needed a vacation bad! When I got there I found out that I could have brought him with me. The hotel was pet friendly. When we checked in I saw a little Yorkie and instantly I wished I had him with me!

that would be soooo fun....great idea....well i live in illinois...i'm 20 minutes from st.louis and 4 hous from chicago....i'll go anywhere they have it....just to throw this in there.....my parents own resorts and rental cabins in the great smokey mountains....100's of them....could get some great deals and have plenty of park like settings and beautifull veiws...they own 1000's of acres...so plenty of room.....if you want to check out their site it is www.covemountain.com
weather is gorgeous....that's an option....the rentals all say no pets...but that's standard on their policy....they will make the exception for me and all the YT's.....i'll drive any hours to see all the yorkies and their owners

I would love to come! Sounds like so much fun. I vote Chicago too. (I'm just outside of Detroit so its only a 3 1/2 hour drive and its a beautiful city)

sounds like FUN.... Im not the flyer type...

I live in MD (metro area) DC/VA... so I wouldnt want to drive more than 6-8 hours... especially if I have to drive alone
