| ![]() Thank you Yorkieluv. Good news, the little girl has been re-united with her owners. Attached is a picture of the 10 year old girl that we may adopt, if her owners don't come by Monday we have first dibs on her. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ![]() She's ADORABLE !!! My feeling is to go for it ...I agree she may be missing but the wait time is at least long enough for owners to contact all the shelters if they're looking... and I agree that too many people drop off dogs because they basically don't want the responsiblilty or a dog is ill - but if she's been vet checked and sounds healthy - go get that baby !!! and I bet we're going to be seeing way more yorkies in shelters now due to the overbreeding ......it's a sad thing ![]() I'm sorry about your Precious...that's so sad All the best to you - she looks like she really needs some good lovin EDITED !!! so sorry - just saw your update we posted at the same time lol !! I'm so glad for the people who were missing her .....and now I'll wish you all the best on the one you just posted about !!!

| ![]() So glad the owners picked up the little one you were considering. Sad for you, but glad the puppy wasn't abandoned. Hope that all works out well with the other one. Considering the care you give to your pups, this little girl will be falling into a pot of gold.

| ![]() Well we adopted the little girl pictured above. She is about9 years old according to our vet. After three days in the shelter she started vomiting and getting diarrhea. The folks at the shelter made it sound like she was an aids patient or something. We took her straight to our vet who couldn't find any obvious problems other than a cataract in one eye. She's a little skinny at 6.5lbs. The doc put her on some antibiotics and anti-nausea meds. He also took a blood sample and we'll get him a stool sample when we can. We took her home and got her a bath to get her clean (she was filthy). Got her some dinner and then spent some time bonding with her. She started out really shy at the shelter but has really warmed up to us in the last 3 or so hours. We're keeping her quarantined from our other dog in the basement (don't worry it's a finsished basement with dog bed, blankets and a crate with a blanket too.) Right now she's snuggling with my wife in the downstairs bedroom. So things look good, our boy Freddie has heard her bark but is really being pretty cool about things. So we'll see how things go. |

| ![]() [quote=rtr;1103826] Our beloved little girl Precious died in February at the age of ten after an unsuccessful surgery to try and implant a pacemaker. We miss her greatly and can never replace her. Our house just isn't the same without two dogs so we want to find Freddie a friend. quote] I am so happy Freddie has a new friend ...
