My condolences to you on the loss of your Katie. It is so hard to lose such a wonderful companion. You gave her a loving home and made her a part of your family. Now she will join the rest of her yorkie friends at the rainbow bridge until you meet again. RIP Katie. Hugs to you and your wife.

I am so sorry for you loss but I hope that you remember all the good times that she gave you and all of the happy that you gave her.

You guys gave her a wonderful three years.

Last week my wife and I adopted Lily, she is 7 years old and about 5lbs (working on increasing that). She is a puppy mill rescue so learning from our other Yorkie Freddie what it's like to be a dog. We are enjoying her.

What a sweet doll she is. You might want to start a new thread to introduce her. I enjoyed reading your posts about Katie. I'm so sorry for your loss. I'm sure Lily will bring much happiness back to your family.

Lily seems to be coming into her own. She is now barking to defend the house, she has learned to use the stairs, and has been able to complete about half of our normal walk (she gets carreid for the rest). It's a joy to see her blossom every day.

Can't deny with those ears and that face that she is a natural born 'watchdog'. She has already learned that not only does she belong to you, but you most definitely belong to her. How wonderful for you to be able to once again enjoy the all encompassing process of bonding the hearts and souls of human and canine. A shelter and now a rescue! Kudos for providing wonderful warm and happy homes to these little ones that may have never known one. I offer my most sincere condolences about Katie and my most sincere congratulations on Lily.
