Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps...Tahoe2005....I didn't direct my above post to you personally....but what I found suspect was you state over and over that vets want you to put this puppy to sleep yet back at the beginning you said you saw FIVE vets....that's alot in vet bills right there...I had just taken my Chanel to TWO vets and the cost was almost $350.00 for just a tummy upset. That's ALOT of vets to see in only a week....I'm not saying you didn't do this... but it did make me wonder. If cash is that tight and this is such an emergency why didn't you stay with ONE vet and start treating him ? Anyone who gets defensive and goes on the attack makes me wonder and while I DO hope your yorkie will be ok - it seemed you didn't jump at the help you've already been offered...like the Care Card -

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | me again...before anyone bashes me for what I said ....I want to say this My son's dog broke his back and was paralyzed in December. they didn't have the money for surgery....But - as in most cases - the vets directed him to financial assistance and did all they could to work something out. Barkley had surgery within HOURS of admittance. We financed it and did need a co-signer but he is now running and playing as if it never happened. |

| Hi Kasia, I'm so sorry for what happened to your little boy, and I hope with all my heart he'll get better. I'm Polish too and can't stand to see another Polish person suffering, after all, we're in a foreign country and should stick together... I don't have a lot of stuff but I'd love to help with a yard sale, if you could only consider that option. I know you're a busy mom and all, I will come to Long Island and help you set up everything, I have a few things I can contribute. I'm sure there are YTalkers from Long Island who did some spring cleaning and have stuff to get rid off. My husband has a truck and we can pick up a few things and bring them to your house. As I said, I'll help with setting up everything.... Please, consider this option. As for the fellow YTalkers: I'm sure you'd want to help too, especially if from Long Island/Queens area. If you have things to donate to the yard sale, please let me know

I have tried so hard to not post on here (Lord forgive me ) but since the first post, I had the gut feeling that this is a scam. I still feel the same way. Even if you call, doesn't make it her dog. Before I get crucified here, I will offer driving to NY and verifying the story with the OP-before anyone decides to donate. I don't have much, but I can donate something. Stone away!

| So many members have offered opinions, ideas, suggestions and gone out of the their way to answer the call of a Yorkie in need. I personally placed long distance phone calls to NY, talked to ppl to see if I could get medical care prices reduced for Tahoe, called other clinics to see if they offered reduced pricing for MRI's or payment options. I contacted my vet to see if he could coordinate a donation drive and was willing to put a donation jar in my grooming shop. I spent an entire day worrying and trying to find a way to help Tahoe. I had conversations with other YT members that also cared enough to put their day on hold to try to find answers for Tahoe. I want to thank each member for their concern and efforts. When Tahoe's mom gave permission in her post to contact Dr. Klemenger I did b/c I didn't want anyone to continue to doubt but to turn it around so we could help. I knew that with so many Yorkie owners on this site that we could find a way to help. I never asked or received any personal information about this family. All I asked or cared about was how to get the necessary care for Tahoe. I've been told I am rude, stupid and not allowed to post anymore by Tahoe's mom. Why? I've not called anyone names or made any derogatory comments. All I've done is try to help Tahoe. Again, I want to thank all the members that have offered help, suggestions and ideas. I'm keeping Tahoe in my prayers and asking that all of you continue to as well.

New people usually don't even know some here donate privately by pm. Seems there's a bit of anger in her post and that's WHY people here need to be careful. When something doesn't add up -follow your instinct. I sure am....My days of getting sucked in by a sad story are over....I only donate to causes I KNOW For a fact are legit. There maybe a sick little Tahoe out there but it doesn't mean it's her dog I was at my vet a few weeks ago for Tessa my cocker - someone brought a little dog named 'Nimbus' in who had been hit by a car....it would be very easy for me to get on some site - tell people the vet and dogs name and try to get financial assistance....it's THAT easy. I'm NOT saying this is the case here - just saying it COULD happen. simplyyorkies - you don't need to explain yourself...many of the posts by Tahoe were rude and defensive....when people are trying to help that's not the time to go on the attack.

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | ps...as I said earlier ...if someone wants to help Tahoe - all they have to do is call the vet and ask where/how to send a donation....but my advise is (after learning the hard way) send it directly to them - they (the vet) can give you a receipt and you know for sure it went to help pay for his care. |

If all the money can not be raised how will we know how much was raised and if it were used at all? This is all so confusing! I hope it's really a scam and there is no little yorkie in need of surgery after all. If this is a true story I would be more than glad to help out. I have also been burnt on this site from sad stories. I am very leary! | |
