New people usually don't even know some here donate privately by pm. Seems there's a bit of anger in her post and that's WHY people here need to be careful. When something doesn't add up -follow your instinct. I sure am....My days of getting sucked in by a sad story are over....I only donate to causes I KNOW For a fact are legit. There maybe a sick little Tahoe out there but it doesn't mean it's her dog
I was at my vet a few weeks ago for Tessa my cocker - someone brought a little dog named 'Nimbus' in who had been hit by a car....it would be very easy for me to get on some site - tell people the vet and dogs name and try to get financial assistance....it's THAT easy. I'm NOT saying this is the case here - just saying it COULD happen.
simplyyorkies - you don't need to explain yourself...many of the posts by Tahoe were rude and defensive....when people are trying to help that's not the time to go on the attack.
