) but since the first post, I had the gut feeling that this is a scam. I still feel the same way. Even if you call, doesn't make it her dog.
Before I get crucified here, I will offer driving to NY and verifying the story with the OP-before anyone decides to donate. I don't have much, but I can donate something.
