| Your Anna is just adorable I think I'd get a 2nd opinion also if they're talking surgery for such a wee one.

| I think her response was fair and I'm glad it all worked out in your favor. Also, as far as the price maybe her vet gives her a special deal because they have an arrangment. If she is not far and is willing to pay 100% for her vet to do it, I would go for it! Just make sure whichever vet your baby ends up going to is familiar with the procedure on a Yorkie or other small doggie. My 2 cents...

| something else I just thought of something else what if my dog isnt/wasnt the only dog she has with this problem she said she didnt notice anything wrong with its eye when she gave it to me but I honestly dont see how you couldnt after being wit it for a while. cuz especially after it wakes up from sleeping its got stuff in its eye that I got to clean out and that started from day one of me having her so I cant see how she couldnt of done it too. when i talked to her last i asked her how many dogs she had cuz she said she wasnt planning on saleing the puppy that i have now but they ran into hard times with their well or something and needed to sell her to fix it i guess I did not know this until last night. So anyways Im now wondering if this condition isnt hereditary and couldnt have been passed down to my puppy and future puppies that her dogs are or will be having. does thre akc not have rules against this i talked to a friend of mine who has labs and i know different breed but she seems to think your not supposed to sell or breed dogs with problems like the problem my dog has. I asked her how many dogs she has and she said she was a hobby breeder which meant she could have up to 10 breeding females but said she only had like 3 right now all the rest were to old to breed now i guess. |

| What exactly is wrong with your puppies eye? What type of surgery does the vet need to do?

| When I got Rocky, his eye was a little blue, breeder gave me two statements from two different doctors saying that the eye has minor damage and will go away with time and some paste. Now the eye is a little better, but I yet have to see it cured. I will take him to the vet this weekend. Breeder is willing to wait and take the puppy back if I want to, money back or exchange for another pup. Now that will never happen as I got used to this pup but its still nice to know. |

| What kind of eye condition is this did the Vet say? Some are genetic and if that is the case, the breeder should be told. If it is congenital, as in one of those things but definitely a birth defect and not your fault then it is iffy if the breeder used the parents again for breeding that it could turn up again. If it is genetic, it is in the dogs either they have it or carrying the condition, she is breeding and likely has seen it before in puppies. Either way, genetic or congenital, as a breeder, I would cover the cost of the surgery AFTER I talked to your vet and determined they know what they are doing OR meeting you half way to pick up the puppy take it to my vet for a second opinion, and/ surgery and then meet you again to return it. But if the breeder is offering you something at least it is something. |

| Glad to see her eye is seeming to be better already. Does she have dry-eye or missing or blocked tear ducts? I think we would all like to know what the vet called it. |

| eye condition Im not sure of the name it was hard to pronounce. But the vet did say that it could have been genetic which kinda makes me mad because I paid full price for the dog and its messed up. i do not want her breeding anymore puppies if this will be passed on to other dogs and then other people be sold puppies like mine with eye problems. Im not even sure if puppies with problems can be akc registered. i was told by a friend that they couldnt be. And my puppy is supposed to be registerable. I dont think the breeder I got the dog from is all that good, but i feel so sorry for the puppy I cant/wont return her. she wouldnt have gotten the puppy the surgery if I had taken her back and then the puppy would have suffered for life. I think thats awful i just want to know how many more of her dogs are suffering right now. and i also have another question when i talked to her on teh phone last she said she was reigsted with some bredding program as a hobby breeder which meant she could have up to 10 breeding females what kind of registeration is that or is there even one? I didnt know 10 breeding females would be considered a hobby seeems like an awful lot to me. |
