You are in my thoughts and prayers! Most importantly is getting your son on the right track. Someone offered to foster your baby till things are better and they will be, have faith! Maybe could give that a minute or two of thought (fostering). I wish the best for you and your family. God Speed!!

You poor dear! It seems as though you have the weight of the world on your shoulders right now. *HUGGGG* My heart goes out to you and wish I could help! As for your baby...fostering sounds like a good answer! At least, you'd know he'd be back in your life when things are looking better. It would still be hard to say goodbye, but if it wasn't forever, maybe it would be a little easier?

I know exactly how you're feeling with your son's problems. I went through that with my son when he was a senior in high school. Thank goodness, we got him into treatment and it worked and he has been clean and sober for over 3 years now and in college taking up addiction counseling. I wish you were closer...I know my son would try to help him. Between your baby, your son, and your divorce, you have to be so overwhelmed with so many emotions. I am so sorry and I will be praying for you and your family. Best wishes for the sun to shine soon!

I too had to give up a dog a couple months ago. Like you, I knew it was the best thing for both of us. It was heartbreaking but your heart will heal. On your worst days just remember that you will feel better again. There are so many people who want to help you that I'm sure you'll have no problem finding a home for your little guy.

I am here at work reading all this and my heart goes out to you, but at the same time, I am overwhelmed at the kindness of all the wonderful people we have here on this forum. It is absolutely amazing how everyone seems to come together whenever someone is in need.

Tomorrow will come and the sun will shine again. Talk about what you are feeling, cry when you need to, smile when you can, and someday you will laugh again. May God carry you until you can walk on your own.

Please know that I will pray for you and your family and I will keep you in my thoughts

Well the woman that I work with, doesn't want to take him as they don't want two male puppies in the house. She has a shih tzu male that her and her husband just got about 2 months ago.

I live in Bellflower, close to Long Beach in Southern California. Please let me know if you reside in California. If you are local and would give my baby a great home please let me know. I just went through this thread and wrote down everyone's name who was local to me. I will have to choose between those that are local as I don't want to ship him.

I appreciate everyone's kindness, as always, you've all been great.

My heart goes out to you. I know that you are going through rough times right now and all i can give you is my sympathy and support. I also live near you as well, and i could try to Foster your Beau until you get situated, if you'd like.

Please dont feel terrible because I too had to once give away my pomeranian roxie when my grandmother was found out to be very ill. if you need anything please let me know, i'm more then willing to help you out if i could with your baby Beau.

OMG, I dont' know exactly how you feel but I've been having awful nightmares of losing my Tiny Baci. I wish you and your pup the best and I hope he finds the perfect family and home.

For the last two weeks, I have been having nightmares of losing Alex. Been waking up in cold sweats.

i'm so sorry. i can't imagine how hard this must be on you with every thing else that is going on in your life. but you should be very proud of yourself for finding beau a loving home where he will be very spoiled and very happy. alot of times people decide to just give them to a shelter or to just anyone. i applaud you for being so responsible and caring. i'm sure who ever takes him will keep in touch with you. if i had a place of my own and lived closer i would take him so nala could have a little brother.
