I don't feel like a good mommy now, I feel HORRIBLE. I don't know what it's going to be like when I see someone carrying him away and he's looking at me with that beautiful baby face, like Mommy, can't I stay with you? Okay, I'm crying again, got to try to do some work.

I am so sorry to hear this..you are a very good mommy and doing what is best for your family. Affordable housing is a big problem, plus finding something that allows pets to boot.

My heart goes out to you. I give you soo much credit for giving up your baby. I do know what it is like to have a family member chemically ddependent. It is a difficult time. It takes every ounce of strenght you have--physically, mentally, emotionaly and spiritually. My prayers are with you. I truly wish that I lived closer to you. Luigi would love a sibling. You are not a horrible mommy, you are a wonderful mommy and couragous and loving. You are putting everyone else's needs ahead of your own, it takes a truly special person to do what you are about to do.

That brought tears to MY eyes - my heart goes out for you - whatever decision you make I'm sure will be the right one for him....Bless your heart - this is very sad ....I'm sure your hoping for a miracle and you can keep him - but whatever happens...you sound like you love him very much and he'll adjust..I just saw a yorkie go from one home to another and he's thriving...but I know it won't hurt any less knowing this...Hang in there !!

What makes it more emotional is I feel like I'm not only losing my little Beau, I feel like my son is unreachable. It's very stressful at my house right now and has been thinking of all I need to do, but so scattered and never getting anything done. Sometimes I just sit there and stare. Poor Beau.

Has your son received any proffesional help or counseling?
Have you received any halp also?
For you I would strongly recommend Al Anon/Nar Anon- its a support group for family and friends of any kind of substance abuse. It gives you ways to cope and help those you love. There are usually meetings in your town. I strongly recommend those meetings. They helped me soo much.

I am sorry for all the difficulty in your life. I know that everything works out for the best in the end, but also that it's hard to see that right now. You are being a good Mom for your Yorkie baby in making this decision and I will be praying that everything else works out as well. Just know that we are here for you!

I did a yahoo search and my town is only 5 hours from where you are Also one of my friend is looking for a baby she just lost her little girl a few months ago she passed away from old age she was 14 (rip chelse) please feel free to pm, me or email me i left my info in a pm for you

As for your son Pray for him, I will be praying.We have a son 24 and it rips your heart out. When he was in his teens he sold drugs, I've cried a million tears, He's been to boys school which i would never do again. We'd go visit and see kids with places on there head bloody and ask him what happened and he said that he curssed the guard and they took his head down a concrete wall. He would have himself locked in a small closet so that none of the others could get him in trouble so he wouldn't have to stay longer. Then he came home went and got his ged and went to college. Was doing really good and then a kid jumped out of his truck and one day later died. My son freaked and drove off then called my hubby and they went back and they got him for leaving the scene of an accident.for give my spelling. My hubby and i have been threw alot for 10 years we didnt have a name but b---- and m----- ------. he always wanted to fight with my husband couldnt set down to dinner in piece. I know your heart is breaking . You love them and hate them at the same time. well the appeals court let our son go said an accident is when you strike something so the others took him to superme court and its been 3 years the 28th and we might have to wait a year for their decision. He had a good job and had to give it up they wanted him in state of Indiana.
It's a shame you and hubby can't go thru this together. and I don't know what id do if i had to give my dogs up. they are a confort. I agree with rene find someone that would just keep him for you. I'm going to pray that Gods will be done. I am also going to fast for you so God will move on your family.
I go to church right now with a man that was a bad drug user now he;s a preacher and preaching to the prisioners in prison. God can do all things if we just believe and doubt not. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Maggie A.

I am so sorry that you cannot keep your baby, I live not too far from you, in Anaheim and work in Long Beach. Could you send me details on your baby. No problem with keeping in touch and visiting whenever you want, will need to talk to my landlord to see if there are any objections. Please send more info. I feel awful for you but do not want to see this baby go to a home that does not understand yorkies, I have two right now, two neutered males.
