| I don't believe she is a lucky few.I have been to several forums and almost all the members that have pet store puppies haven't had any bigger problems than those with puppies from other breeders. Rosie seems to be healthy and hasn't had any problems. I think if you do a poll here you will find many say the same thing that their pet store dog is healthy. Alot will admit their yorkie isn't perfect as faras standards,so will many others. Quote:

| I got 2 of my dogs from a petstore..I know I was so wrong for that but I didn't know better at the time. The two are perfectly healthy and I never had any problems healthwise. |

The thing about saving these animals is that it only increases demand for them, and there's no way to save them all I don't think that the OP meant anything to be directed toward anyone that bought from a pet store. Education is the key, and that's the intent that I read into it, and that's the way I took it. If buyers would do their homework on a place and where they get their animals ( I didn't , and I KNEW better! ), and then only buy from the ethical pet stores, the shifty ones WOULD be put out of business. Unfortunately, way too many of us see that adorable puppy and want to save it, and fall in loveI'm so happy when I hear of folks that have a healthy puppy, no matter where it came from.
